Let me just say that while i still do not like some of the character designs, i still found this episode really really good compared to the sub-par first episode. It still parallels some of the other gundam series a lot but hey, its gundam .
Spoiler for episode spoilz:
Also, i liked the gundam design much more in EP2 compared to the first. Looked much better with the rifle/shield than with that puny beam "knife" . Last edited by Sciel; 2011-10-16 at 05:11. |

Possibly due to its immense size, the Federation forces faces some dissent, and legitimate ones. The designated captain of Diva, for example, suggested to launch Diva without first rescuing the Nora residents. He cites an absence of orders from the EFF central command as the reason for not saving the residents, a jerk.
Then, the deputy commander Grodek, possibly having guessed that the captain's a jerk, kidnaps him and assumes control of Diva himself. He modifies EFF data easily (and suggesting that EFF data security is lousy) to place himself as the "official" captain of the ship. This would probably fuel speculation. Regarding the newly announced mobile suits, which are apparently not the property of the EFF, I think they may belong to another faction consisting of radicals from the EFF, such as Grodek, pushing for more decisive action against the UE. And the purple-haired girl that Flit rescues would become a "Newtype"-like character. She's able to guide Flit and AGE in escaping the colony, simply by "thinking hard enough" (like Newtypes usually do), though it wasn't accompanied by some Newtype flash reaction. |

Wow, AGE system is setup from several different part. The compact moulding and assembly line is funky idea.
You kind of wonder what the UE game plan is, especially when that woman pointed out that, if they wanted to destroy Nora, they could have just targeted the energy plant. I found this episode better than the first one. So I guess we have either Newtypes in this series, or she could be the enemy... |

nothing to impressive for me but still good. Its funny that the age system reminds me of Dr Light and Megaman. Though in this case Dr Light didn't build the upgrade system. He just hand it over to megaman. Last series we got hax Trans-am and now a few seconds weapon builder called AGE builder... >.> wow naming sense. The Diva battle ship really looks like a child's toy to me. OR rather the WHOLE atmosphere is making me hard to get serious on this series but still worth watching. Flit is really a kid. Maybe staying too long in front of his machines makes him not well acquainted with the opposite sex (Minus Emilly sinces she's his childhood friend) The new girl easily makes him nervous plus this Yurin girl is like the newtype of this series.
I wonder why does the UE simply bombard it to destroy it. One of the navigator also speculates why do the trouble of doing that move. They could just destroy the plant if they want to destroy it. It means UE is not just destroying colony out of the blue. They might be doing something other than just attacking. Plus the colony reminds me of the colony in the Sora o Kakeru Shōjo's "Leopard" I wonder if the colony has an annoying AI system too and UE wants it EDIT I forgot how monster Genius Flit is. Even with the blueprints left behind by her mother. The AGE builder system and The Gundam Age which he built is just technically ingenious. That boy got some brains. I was really amazed when the Age Builder start building weapons. it's much better than hax trans am which makes me go huh!?
