Don't you hate it when you dream something that's actually interesting to use as a fic but can't because you don't remember all of it?

Gist: I had an Ace Combat-ish dream last night, with me as flight leader in an F/A-18A, my wing consisted of Lilia Kjellberg (Muv-Luv: The Day After) in another F/A-18A, Charlotte Dunois (Infinite Stratos) in a Rafale M, and Stella Bremer (Muv-Luv total Eclipse) in a Gripen NG.

Don't remember much about it other than:
- Jokes at my expense for having "A squadron of angels"
- Snarky commentary from Lilia warning me to 'stay loyal' to her --(a joke. She's my wingman)
- Tense moment when people ask why my F/A-18 has one blue tailfin (don't ask)
- Seeing Cecilia Alcott and Laura Bodewig (Infinite Stratos) sharing a two-seat Eurofighter arguing directions(THAT was utterly hilarious)
- One-on-one Dogfighting with a ATD-X Shinshin. A Black and Gold Shinshin that flies like a psychopath. With a very familiar pilot accusing me of "Being a fake Demon Lord" (or something to that effect)

Damn you, insane crazy dream fairies!

Finally found someone with a crazier dream than myself? (Last night is a Hellsing v.s Kamen Rider Wizard) And yes, I would kill to see Ichika's harem in these tight suits!

All purpose, because you can't afford to be specialised. When you have a limited number of aircraft, it makes sense that the aircraft do as many roles as possible.

Well, I am a fan of simplistic. In a place like Muv-Luv, rudgerness is something to consider - That is why I love Russia! Too bad that they don't make the Mig-31! Now I couldn't found a rational way to include it in my fic.

Would it be better for you if my age is 7 years, 111 days and 7 hours (6 hours for my brother)?

- Yeah, it's weird but it kind of works: No horrific BETA, but no repeated-to-death High School Harem Antics, either. I have too much to work on right now, but I just might get back to this idea.

The sky was turning red. Eight and a half gees of force tearing into me while the Hornet spun to avoid an incoming shot. Missile lock warning was still blaring, but I couldn't shake it.

The lock was still there. I couldn't get a single lock on the radar, but the black plane was behind me. Keeping an easy bead on me from behind. A single missile and it would be all over.

Why doesn't he fire?

Like a ghost, the plane easily overtook my Hornet. My grip tightened over the stick, but I couldn't pull the gun trigger. There was no point.

My hands were trembling too badly.

I grit my teeth at the black-and-gold plane, red spot of Japan's sun on the wings as it maneuvered overhead. Mocking me as the pilot demonstrated the ATD-X's flight superiority over my older F/A-18.

That's you, isn't it?

The ATD-X Shinshin rose above the clouds with impunity.
