Great episode, though who did Taku hear from about Ash Roller's duel? He cut all connections with the blue legion after all. How many points did he use? Assuming he accelerated ever 2 seconds in order to not miss Noumi, if the test took 1 hour (3600 seconds), he used up 1800 points? That is way more than Niko did in order to find Haru. How many levels could he get?
Noumi said he was busy yesterday, did he duel throughout the night for points to use in todays test? Once again, Noumi escapes. First Haru decides to use his Killer Move on Noumi when a single clean hit could have ended the duel, now the time Haru&Taku took to bump fist and confirm their feelings of friendship, while Chiyu has all the time in the world to heal him up. Noumi's plot no jutsu must be pretty tough At least three burst linkers live in Okinawa, I'm looking forward to the burst linker with the mobile suit

Kuroyuki's greeting's from the beach really brought some color into Haru's cheeks.
Cyan Pilve vs Dusk Taker in the middle of P.E. Taku fighting to get Silver Crow's wings back was not a good idea. I still think they are not strong enough to take him on without Kuroyuki. It was pretty cool watching Silver Crow vs Dusk Taker. Nomi sure had a lot of aces up his sleeve. That Gale Thruster made a lot of difference, but Taku's assistance did the trick. OMG, is Chiyu a traitor now or what?? That was a shocker!

As shounen fights go, and this is the most Shounen of the battles so far, if one discounts Haru's battle against Taku, this started out as a rather conventional , if believable one. But the twist at the end gloriously took the triumph of the concept of the power of friendship, ripped it and spat on it.
Truly the Rage episode indeed, but it did felt like that scene wasn't as powerful as it could have been. |

If she is going double-agent or some other nonsense(which is the only thing I can remotely think of), why in god's name wouldn't you give your friends a heads-up before you do some garbage like that? God only knows why I watch this show due to my utter hatred of some of these characters. |

I would guess that Chiyu is sick to death of Brain Burst and what it's doing to her friends. Pretty much all she sees of it is the bad, and the misery it caused Haru to be subjugated by Nomi. I guess I can see her wanting to put a stop to it.
I'm a little disappointed though, since it seemed at first like she saw it as a way they could play together again. But if her reasons are as I suspect, I suppose I could see the pendulum going all the way back to "if they lost this program forever, it would be a mercy." The only other alternative motive I can think of is that she might have joined up with the "new wave" of Brain Bursters Nomi mentioned for some purpose. Either way, as someone mentioned, we probably won't get any answers next episode, since we seem to be shifting focus to what's happening in Okinawa. I wonder if BB has a beach stage. |
