Enjoyable episode. Otohiko and Kurama are the best secondary characters. Makes me want to see both God Summit and Kurama arc animated.

I was a little disappointed with this episode. I thought some of the faces especially in the first segment were off-model. And not in an intentional for comic effect sort of way. So sad because the show usually excels in making funny faces.

It's always nice watching some new info.
His past with Mikage was nice.

The second part was more fun.
It makes me sad watching Nanami try not to be in love with Tomoe.
The nice thing was seeing Tomoe jealous and his feeling coming out.
It was a good episode.

Kurama-sama...you ftw! ROFL at the ending.

But the large skip to how Tomoe became Mikage's familiar felt dry and really rushed. If I didn't know about all the things that happened between the last episode and this one, I wouldn't have felt much about Tomoe's situation...and it was only an half episode, too. There are only 2 episodes left, I wonder why they bothered adding this part about Tomoe when they won't expand much on it and probably won't properly resolve it in the end. Feels a bit of a waste.

...unless they plan for a second season...yes please?

That tongue business sure was off-putting. Does anyone do that in real life? Still he seemed like a creep underneath that nice guy exterior. Looked to me like his entire interest in Nanami was focused on getting into her pants. I got the impression the guys were all older than the girls and more experienced. Of the three girls, I'd guess Nanami is the only one who has kissed a man (assuming Tomoe counts), and that was her first time.

The anime mess up a bit with the manga, but can't be helped I guess. In fact, I think it's a good way to begin wrapping everything up in light of the impending conclusion. I suspect that they will leave the relationship issue hanging in the air, you know, in case there is a possibility of a second season. I can't see them getting together by the end of this anime, because if that happens, I am seriously going to laugh my ass off.

I think their showing of Tomoe and the black stripes on his body opened up more than wrapping things up because that part in the manga is the start of another major arc. If they truly considered wrapping this all up neatly, they should leave that part out. Maybe they're playing it safe, so that they could go with a second season if they decide to, which I'm still hoping for!

...and I feel sorry for Mizuki being the fodder for Kurama and Tomoe.

...and I also want to know what's behind the masks of those Onikiri yokai familiars but gauging Tomoe's reaction of what he saw...it may not be good.

I think the anime is just trying to have some "intense" drama that characterizes most conclusions. Errr, do I make any sense? Anyway, when I found out that the anime is just one cour, I know they will mess up the ordering of the chapters, so I just watch it with zero expectation.
