ok watched the episode, these are my note:

WARNING it spoils the whole episode. Read only if you are prepared

Spoiler:

- Susaku returns his knighthood to Euphie because he admire her and don't want to trouble her. At the same time, she confess that he killed his father to her.

- Euphie didn't really care what Susaku did anyway. Ofcourse, now that she loves him...herher..

- Zero declare to create a real 'independent country" starting in Tokyo. He was citicized by Tamaki and co. that that would not be possible, they don't have the power to fight Britania. Zero returns with a punch line of this episode:
" Then Listen!... you all, are you going to wait until someone defeat Britania!? Wait for someone instead of youself to do it... keep waiting and one day the change will come? Don't be naive! If you won't move, that day will never come!" Its currently my faverite part of this episode next to CC's pilot.

- Nina was trying to use Milly --> Lyold to get herself to see Euphie :3

- Schnizel saves Susaku's ass from being executed.

- The Japanese army in this episode is actually from the Chinese federation (well.. I guess you already know that by now). The former president used to be Susaku's dad's (not exactly) friend.

- Nina cheers Euphie up by bashing herself.. "When I was saved by you. I thought I meet with a goddess". "Please don't say that to you self..., I don't have anything good: I am not beautiful blahblahbblah".

- Nina knows that Euphie is in love with Susaku. When she tells her that (indirectly), Euphie then notice her true feeling too...

- Euphie confess to Susaku, and tell him that don't hate himself. Funny that Ciciel overheard the confession. sigh... I didn't exspect this to happen, but Susaku x Euphie is a seal deal now. Too bad for Nanaly-chan.

- Zero helps susaku's ass again.... this time, with the super beam system. Lyold got a little shock seeing Raksha's new 'toy'. Apperently Rakksha is also surprised by Lyold's new toy too.

- Lulu and CC copilot Gawain. CC is hot in her suit.

- Lulu (and CC) + Susaku join forces defeating the fake japan army... Cornalia takes the credit in the public. (feel like Diethard will do something)...

- Episode ended by some Susaku x Euphie moment....sigh, this reminds me of an old saying.. "In a war movie. If someone fall in love he/she will die". Hope that won't becomes true for Euphie.

- Shirley found the note. It said that Lulu == Zero. SHe can't remember anything though. There are a lot of possibility here...she can..
1. Confront Lulu with the fact and get herself killed... I really want this to happen
2. Keep it quiet, wait for her chance to get some hard evidence then confront him (same as 1.) or go and tell Britania. (she will die for sure if she does that).
3. blah, just a piece of paper with some prank. Let's scrap it. (she will go back to some minor super sub character).
hoho now what would happen!~

- Kallen got jealous, she didn't get to go with her beloved Zero this time >_<. (she also mentioned she won't be able to go to school or home anymore, although we know that she will be back to school in ep 21 somehow). She said it would be easier if Guren just join Gawain instead of having Lancelot do it.

- Dietahard again see what Zero is thinking. The objective is not to win this battle, it only to participate in this battle in taking down Chinese fed. Zero have no need to waste any of his troops.

- Schnizel is talking to his dad. Seems like he have something coming up... ofcourse since this is in the spoiler, I can spoil you that more ace class pilot from Britania will be coming to Japan. Why does emperror have to send them here? may be its something to do with 'Geass'.

NEXT EPISODE

- Vietta + Ougi date....hmm nothing to say here.

- CC in school cosplay and she is in shock! What did she see?!! (ofcourse we can pretty much guess by whats on the table this episode while Milly was talking to Nina).

- Lulu got smacked with a toy hammer. (by CC?)

So my guess was right. The geass doesn't erase a person's memory just that easy. It still leaves a trace somewhere in the person's brain. All it need is just a stimulus to make someone remember it (i.e. Shirley and that piece of note). But I don't think Shirley will tell on everybody about Lelouch being Zero. She's in love over him.

Well, first of all - Shirley needs to find out why she has this piece of information written down, and why she can't remember anything to do with it. Including who Lelouch is.

No, there has been NO mention or hint that she's regaining her memories.
She saw her letters, and is wondering why she can't remember any of it.

So far, there has been no evidence of "trace of memory left" with Shirley's case.

long story short: Euphie is about to give up (since she feels she has no power). Nina says not to. Euphie starts thinking to herself, that she hates herself/is unhappy. Nina mentions Suzaku, Euphie realises her and Suzaku are the same. so basically, Nina actually helps Euphie stop being depressed. 0_o

Nina really came off more like a fangirl than a stalker this episode, but I'm sure she'll do something else questionable in good time.

Sheesh I thought the ep was awesome, some of you really take your Suzaku hate a little to far XD It was a great episode, sadly it'll be around another 2 weeks until we get decent subs (the speed subs are really screwy which I'm surprised because the group that is doing them is usually a lot better then what they've put out in these last two episodes...

I'm actually kinda surprised they called in another 5 guards for backup. she seemed pretty pinned to the ground to me.

and not as cute as the angry noise Count Pudding was making when he found out that Larkshata got the Gawain to work.

Diethard seems more like the vice commander than Ougi. Zero shoulda made Diethard the Vice Commander. He seems to be a good tactian. And LOL to Nina getting bumrushed. I have to see it in motion to fully enjoy it.

there's so many explanations for this that require nothing as silly as precogniscence (which for manga reasons likely won't show up in the anime.)

just think up a quick explanation. it's Lelouch, he'd been watching the battle, Laksharta knows the power usage of the float system, etc.

My gosh, what an utterly disappointing episode, the worst of the series so far and filled with Suzaku crapness to boot...

The good:
- CC and Lulu piloting the Gawain. Pure coolness.
- Nina's butt being kicked

The bad:
- Nina's conversation with Euphie.
- Euphie's confession to Suzaku. Too sudden, too out of place, too stupid.
- Shirley. I sense she will make advances at him again... ugh.
- No Kallen/Black Knights in action.

The worst:
- Suzaku being rescued by Zero. Why, oh WHY wasn't that idiot killed already? *sigh*

Because Suzaku is Lulu's friend. And Lulu doesn't want him to die, against his better judgement.

Seriously, that's the only reason. If Lulu is as heartless as he really believe he needs to be, Suzaku would have already died a dozen times.

Some people here claim Lulu's "Live!" Geass command used on Suzaku will cause problems later. I disagree.

The Geass, when activated, will cause Suzaku to chose an option that isn't suicidal. So all Zero need to do is to trap Suzaku in a lethal situation and offer him the option to surrender. This will work to Lulu's favour, since he never intends to kill his friend anyway.

I finally get it. this is exactly why some people don't like this episode.

Because it's really a Suzaku/Euphie episode with guest appearances by Lelouch, instead of the normal other way around. still, without having to worry about being the protagonist, Lelouch actually gets to act pretty cool this episode, saving Suzaku, giving a nifty speech, and blowing away random things with the shiny new Nekomimi.


but beyond having a hard time with this one if you don't like the characters, the only real let down in this episode was that the Chinese federation turned out to be relatively lame. but I guess within the current time constraints of late season, they couldn't really afford to give this storyline 2 episodes. ;_;

because she was reunited with her long lost brother and then had a moment of clarity while talking to someone who had had little to no involvement with her plotline. pretty standard really.
