I'm glad I decided to look through this thread. Cleared up many things for me, because before I was completely misunderstood about the whole project itself. I hope the final product after the initial mv's feels more like the 2nd mv. I liked what I saw better than the first initial mv/pv. But I prefer the art from the first pv. I feel like that combined with the atmosphere of the second mv could turn out nice. But then again there's more to come so I guess I'll regularly keep an eye out for this.

Feel like the first Comike PV has enough content to fit into 6 PVs, so I made this.
PV3 and 4 is from the exhibits in Comike, they display few scenes from "Magical Engine" (PV2), "Shirosagi" (Asuka's PV?) and storyboard for "Hello, Dear My Friends" (Kotone's PVs). PV5 and 6 is pure guesswork, they contains some similarity (PV5 star in bottle, PV6 swimsuits). (Click to enlarge, Original) Last edited by sirn; 2012-11-12 at 09:29. |

Great picture, sirn, thanks. Looking over that just cements this series as one of my more anticipated ones for 2013; it's like the series was made just for me, especially since the anime was first announced on my birthday. :p It hasn't been announced how many episodes the series might be or when it begins, has it? I'm guessing Spring or Summer, since at this late stage most of the Winter 2013 anime have already been announced.

Hmm, looking at that image of all the PVs the show actually looks less like a magical girl show and more like a slice of life show where the girls wish they were magical girls. Really hope we get more info (especially details for if/when it'll turn into a full series) sometime soon.

I think the character designs will become the selling point for me. I think they are absolutely cute (the eyes, man!). These designs coupled with some light ecchi = I'm sold. I still don't know what to expect in terms of actual content, though.

I actually compared to the previous PV. I forgot some words, sorry.
I don't deny the cuteness of Naoto Nakamura's chara-design but I have a preference for Kyuuta Sakai's work. I agree the actual content is still unclear & that's probably their intent.

Kantoku did the original character design but Naoto Nakamura adapted it for PV1 & 3 while Kyuuta Sakai did the one for PV2. By the way, Madoka anime character design was Takahiro Kishida's work, not Nakamura (though he did some work as animation director).
