The artwork is matter of taste, some like Masumoto's style some don't. Some likw adachi's style and some don't. As for animation, QM was done in the early 70s and Touch was done in late 70s and early 80s. A very big time gap.

Let me correct you - according to AniDB, unless they're wrong, QM was done from 1981 to 1982, and Touch from 1985 to 1987. That's not much of a time gap, is it? I mean, not enough to be considered 'a very big' one.

Although I do agree with the artwork - it's a matter of taste. Pardon.

Episode two was a significant improvement over episode one, but I still wouldn't give up Adachi for Matsumoto. It's a series that doesn't really excel, but doesn't let you drop it, either.

Or you could do like some of us that like both mangakas...

One thing that bugs me about Adachi: The fact that every one of his characters looks the same.

They are nothing alike at all. There was as much variety in types of anime in their era as there is today. Fortunately you can watch BOTH Adachi AND Matsumoto. Why do you keep addressing the issue as if there was either some mutal exclusivity or similarity between them? This is like comparing Mushishi and Tsukihime.

They are extremely different and each is good in their own way. Feel free to enjoy either or both.

I haven't previously seen Queen Millennia, so I can't say with certainty, but judging by the other Matsumoto shows I've seen I srongly suspect that the romance is a minor plot and will mostly be subtle and/or hinted at. That's his pattern.

Rather different actually, despite having the same art style. I prefer GE999 myself, but this is still rather interesting.

I really hope they finish QM. I LOVE this series. It has such a well developed and good storyline. It's storytelling is way beyond your average anime. Well ok you have to adopt to the style, but thats no problem at all. It fits totally to the setting. Please finish it and release more episodes. I can't await it.

Queen M, after some edit and recon form the original Author is now the prequel to GE999.

A short OAV call Matel Legend bridge the gap between the end of Queen M and the Rise of the Machine Empire.

I'm trying to get this serie for my sister since this is her absolute faverouite serie but I can not find ep 25-30 anywhere

(any language version would be ok, those that I have are german dubbed, but raw japanese is okay too with english or german subs)? Please help me this would be her birthday gift!
