I am looking forward to see how the Jaguars play this year. There are many things to look for in this team.
Lot of questions for this team coming up. - The effect of bookend tackles of each side in Luke Joeckel and Eugene Monroe - The progression of Gabbert with firm protection around him - Maurice Jones Drew playing for a contract - Who or how many will rise to the occasion at Wide Receiver with Cecil Shorts III and Justin Blackmon out for the first preseason game - Gus Bradely's Defense with Rookies starting in the Secondary There are too many things to look for this season, I am happy. |

im interested in the pats, and how they will respond to their obvious lack of a TE, went back to look at stats for fantasy, Brady threw much more to his TEs than I thought. No way am I gonna draft him though

I'd still draft him but maybe 5th or 6th round. He still has his offensive line that protected him pretty well last season and he's got Ridley and Vereen in the backfield. I'm just waiting to see how my Redskins pan out this year. I hope Shanahan doesn't start him week 1. I don't think he's ready yet.

While Luck took off a fair amount last season, I wouldn't classify him as a "running" QB at all. He's more than capable of making plays with his feet, like Rodgers or Roethlisberger, but the bulk of his game is clearly built on his work from the pocket.

^ Well aside from, looking forward to seeing the rookies (on my team) that impressed me in week 1, I'm looking forward to seeing the teams that have QB competitions going on (like the Jaguars, Jets, and Eagles etc.).

Well bad news for my team, Oakland Raiders' left tackle, Jared Veldheer needs triceps surgery and likely headed for injured reserve/designated for return list.
More bad news on New England Patriots front as Tom Brady leaves Patriots practice after injuring knee. It doesn't look serious, but you never know in the NFL. EDIT: Tom Brady's MRI came back negative.

^ It may very well be too much, all you can do is hope that the players on your team can stay out trouble.Initially, I thought that this arrest would affect his appeal, but it's completely different issue so it's unlikely. I wonder what kind of punishment the NFL will hand him for his arrest?

I did my fantasy draft for one of my leagues, but ended up with last pick again whereas the league manager got 1st overall pick again. Draft was supposed to be random order but everyone landed in their same spot as last year so I'm thinking the LM did something. Anyway, it was a 14 team snake draft in a standard PPR league. I ended up taking Jamaal Charles and Trent Richardson in the 1st and 2nd rounds. I somehow managed to draft Matt Ryan in the 6th and SeaBass last.
Are David Wilson and Daryl Richardson worth it? Steve Johnson and Vincent Jackson are my wideouts and Jared Cook is my TE. I took Buccaneers defense since they were great against the run last season and bolstered their secondary with Revis and Goldson. Luckily this wasn't for my money league I'm in. What do you guys think?

I read that former Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith signed recently for the Montreal Alouettes in the CFL after being out of work in the NFL since June 2012. Are there some Baltimore Ravens or San Francisco 49s fans who can tell me more about his pro career, please?
