The animation team didn't forget anything. In chapter 173, Ino has a longer ponytail just like in the anime. Ino grew her hair back, Sakura kept cutting it. That's all there is to it.

Yup, its as simple as that.... the animation team didnt screw up, theyre just keeping it true to the manga

Hrm, I think its pretty clear from that img Ino looks better with longer hair.

(Sakura seems to be more suited to shoulder length hair. Long hair on sakura makes her look a bit too soft)

Here's another anomaly:

In the scene where Chouji is talking to Ino near the bathroom, you can see that his left pupil has goldish-green specks in it. They kind of look like glass shards.

Another interseting part about this episode is when Naruto preforms his Combo, it seems that only 3 clones kick Susake into the air when it shows 4 different clones sliding saying: U, Zu, Ma, Ki...

Well.. the truth is that Ino did grew back her hair. Evidence : Episode 78-103 OP theme. The animators couldn't make that same mistake for a straight 25 episodes right ?

ok inos hair isn't totally long yet but its gettin there.no anomoly there.
as for the crack they used bondo on it.and you thought bondo was just for drywall.
