It would be good if Ichigo was actually a full-time Soul Reaper, instead of him just giving us his Soul Reaper powers to gain god-amount of power. It would actually give him a chance to become a captain

Actually both move the story along, but by losing his soul reaper powers a lot of holes in the story are filled

I wonder if Ichigo will be summoned to meet the Spirit King after he defeats Aizen and then a new plot/villain will form around the Royal Guard?
