Yui: Such cuteness, and I love her hyperness She also reminds me of Yui from K-On. It sould be so awesome if they did a crossover and the 2 Yuis met.

Shiina: Epic ninja girl.

Yuri: Because of her, there are now 3 Haruhi variants: The original, Ritsu (K-On) and Yuri. I would love to see the 3 meet.

I wanted to keep my voting as narrowed down as possible, so I voted for:

Naoi Ayato: It really doesn't matter how he's acting. He was epic, when axe crazy and he's stil epic, as an Otonashi fanboy. He's humorous and the facted that he is a self proclaimed God, helps too. I am his Fangirl. I adore Naoi Ayato and forever will. :3

Noda: Wow, a character with very little screen time. The anime revealed absolutely nothing about his past. So, how did such a character make their way to Rank #2, for me? Maybe, it's just the fact the he wield a halberd, is an idiot, and has an adoration for Yuri. Yay for Noda~

Everything went downhill for Angel Beats! after they failed to follow up with every characters' backstory, personally: had the rest of the series also focused on every featured member's backstory on top of the gradual developing relationship between Otonashi and Tachibana, then the series would have exceeded almost every expectation imaginable.

It can be argued that as side characters their backgrounds are not significant to the main plot, but if that was the case then why did Iwasawa, Ayato, and Yui receive special episodes whilst everyone else got shafted into the shadows? Yuri, despite receiving an episode focused on her, is especially a victim of this.

As the female protagonist and the single most important character of the Angel Beats! universe, she didn't receive as much attention as she deserved: only a portion of her entire background was covered in episode two and everything else about her remains ambiguous. Even Track Zero fails to completely fill in any gaps concerning Yuri, let alone fill in the gaps that the founding members are full of.

TK. Hands down. While most might vote for Kanade simply because of the love stuff that goes on and her outward "moe," I vote for TK because of sheer awesomeness and individuality. I mean, how many other anime characters have you seen that speak in nonsensical English (besides Archer) and dance non-stop? He's so cool!

I want to be TK when I grow up. His quotes are memorable and his brotherliness even greater.
