1 ) getfresh - Do as you wish.
2 ) I've created the tutorial, but I've created it in french. I would need someone in order to time a subtitle script or someone who would want to dub it. I've already translated the tutorial... Well, I don't think anyone would bother to do that ^^. But hope is what makes humans different .

new update on my website :
- New update for my ssa -> after effects script : version v0.7. (effects selector and space management layer added) - A tutorial in order to use my script with english subtitles. (tutorial already outdated since I've made an update after doing the tutorial and i'm too lazy to do it again.) (I don't know if I should post it somewhere else) I'm also trying to create an computer graphics help channel. #shinjipierre @ irc.rizon.net

Another way is using \org and small \fr amounts such as \frx0.1 {\org(320,1300)}{\t(0,100,\frx0.1)}H{\frx-0}{\t(100,200,\frx0.1)}e{\frx-0}{\t(200,300,\frx0.1)}l{\frx-0}{\t(300,400,\frx0.1)}l{\frx-0}{\t(400,500,\frx0.1)}o Otherwise you can just give each syllable its own line and use \move Just fool around with different values in the \org and using frx/y/z to get the movement you want. |

Mostly because Paul doesn't use text animators.
He doesn't set the text animators mode selectors to "word". The difference.... Well... You're less restricted. Arrtists don't like to be restricted, that's all ^^ By the way, I got rid of the annoying behavior when one has to replace the spaces. There's a null layer with a slider in order to change the spaces.

Quick tutorial to move object horizontally and vertially freely:
1) Set \org way off the screen horizontally - i.e. (-1000000,20) 2) use \frz to move object vertically 3) use \fry to move object horizontally. or 1) Set \org way off the screen vertically - i.e. (20,1000000) 2) use \frz to move object horizontally 3) use \frx to move object vertically. Now you can make a karaoke that has letters hopping across the screen! Woot! |

I use SSA and have switched to Aegisub and encountered a minor problem. In SSA I could start a new line with \n, but with Aegisub that isn't the case. Can anyone help? It would be greatly appreciated. Also, how does one commit the kanji to go vertical on the right side of the screen?

For the kanji, at the top of your font selection you should have fonts with @ infront of it which makes it vertical, all or most japanese fonts should have it. then just flip it 90 degrees with {\frz-90}. |

so yea.... i was using the \org method to move each single syllabel, but i reached a obstacle. after the animation of it hoping to the left is done, the whole lines turns up to be slanted, any idea how to counteract this...i tried a lot of tweaking with the numbers, and nothing would seem to do it.
