The look in Yuki's eyes after she notices Mikoto's reaction to Hanai's change is chilling... in a good way. It's quite promising.

I think if Akira would direct her affection towards any male in the series, it would probably be Hanai. Can't really say why I get that impression though... there was that incident in Italy during Summer vacation, and the numerous pranks she's played on him (more than anyone else in the series). I think it was when she removed his glasses in this chapter that particularly struck me.

its fun to see how Mikoto is developing feelings for Hanai, I like them more than AsouxMikoto.

We will probably see a "go-back-in-time" thing when we get back to Harima, we will probably see what he was doing under the time of his absent. Since we arent even seeing him in the background its safe to assume he doesnt have any intention of going back to school because of what Tenma said.

I also think we will see Eri go back and see what Harima is doing, like what she did when Harima went nuts with that zoo and became a furtuneteller. Then kick him sometimes and say "come back to school" etc.

Hmm...seems like Hanai is getting a push since the last few chapters he's just been an extra and he was beaten by a huge Kouta-kun and his grades lowered due to fact he attended less classes 'caused by an ACCIEDENT. It's good to see him develop though I wished we saw how'd he go toe to toe with Tougo.

BTW any of you think the covers affect every chapter? Since it's the Mikoto and Hanai cover it's flute faction, then Onigiri then the Flag, yet customable cover because of the S.D. stickers of angle Eri, Yakumo, devil Yakumo and Tenma to Kidsmeal or Monkey faction...IMO this manga vol. will turn our heads insideout since school rumble is a guru-guru anime. XD

The upcoming chapters may be more important than I first imagined; what will happen to Hanai if he loses? Being a part of the student council is the cornerstone of his personal identity, perhaps even more important to him than Yakumo. *scary thought*

Maybe it'll turn out that Hanai will lose the election to Tougou by a hair, which will be the life-changing event for him that will create an opportunity for rethinking his priorities in life, including who his affections are directed towards.

I smell a plot.

I think the covers have nothing to do with the story. For example, the last cover that had Yakumo and Harima focused mainly on Eri and Harima.

Volume 16 has chapters 192-203, which focuses mainly on Eri's feelings for Harima. The cover makes it seem like Tenma, Yakumo, and Eri are fighting over him, and that really doesn't happen in the chapters covered.

I think you guys are thinking to much about stuff, that wasn't intentional for sure ;D.

But Miko-chaaaaan is sooooooo sweeeet in chapter 221.

But the Tenma and Yakumo figures were just stickers, weren't they? The only figures actually on the cover were Eri and Harima...

Yea!! That;s why this manga is FTW!!! You can customize your cover!!! To devil kids meal or angel flag or devil/angel monkey faction. This may mean these 3 girls are on top of Harima's list to end with...question is who?

You think. There won't be a new chapter next week because of Golden Week. If the current arc continues it could be possible Harima/Eri/Yakumo won't appear in a new chapter for two months.
