No, it suggests that they have something in common. Mahiro picked up reading classic literature as a hobby from Aika, and Mimori has a similar interest in reading as well.

As far as my understanding goes, the chapter only tells how Mimori met Mahiro and how they share a common interest. Why she's going out with him is a story for later (according to Mimori in her last narrative).

I liked this ending, but I heard some Aika's fans were upset. They don't think Yoshino was as devoted as he first appeared.

Basically, Yoshino and Mahiro found out about Hakaze's work. They dine in her family restaurant. Mahiro tried his best to make Hakaze upset. He phoned her clan and they all came to eat dinner. Hakaze's secret job is revealed

When Mahiro uses the restroom, Hazake's supervisor confronts him. He tells Mahiro not to toy with Hakaze anymore. The supervisor thinks Mahiro is Hakaze's loved one. Since Hakaze told the supervisor about the problem in her loved life. The supervisor thinks her beloved man is a sinful person. The supervisor has a good impression about Yoshino. Mahiro says the supervisor makes the mistake. He doesn't want to talk about the bias against him(According to manga writer in the afterward, this scene intends to show that Mahiro is a good man). Mahiro says Yoshino is Hakaze's loved one. Mahiro says there are only two types women in the world. The first one is a scary woman, such as his younger sister. Mahiro also asks about Hazae's schedule.

After the work, Hakaze leaves the resturant. She finds Yoshino waiting outside. He says that he will walk her home. Hazazke is surprissingly happy, and she says she dosn't need the bodyguard. Yoshino says he thinks so, too. He dosn't think she needs the guard, because she is a strong person. It was Mahiro who asks him to do it. Hakaze is disappointed. She says she should have known. She knows Yoshino is a passive person.

Yoshino tells Hakaze that she can find a better man than Yoshino. If she does, he will give them bless. Hakaze is annoyed. Then, Yoshino says he will also find another woman. Hakaze is also annoyed. She says he knoews she would kill him for this act. She also adds he's scary. Knowing him...she thinks he is the person who would do such thing.

Yoshino asks her to hold his hand as they wait at the pedestrian crossing. Hakaze is bit annoyed about this childish act, and she says they are not elementary kids anymore. Yoshino says she may not need someone to hold his hand. However, he needs someone to hold his hand. He admits he is not as brave as Mahiro. To move forward, he needs someone to guide him. Hakaze signs and smiles at him. They hold hands and they walk cross the road.

The main problem I had is that I felt Hakaze was always very pushy and Yoshino never showed a lot of interest in her. The last scene felt random to me
