wow.... I was actually caught up that what we were watching wasn't fake and was displaying how people were dealing when they saw aliens.. Then all of a sudden the Prince came in and gave me a big shock (expression = ) that all I watched was trying to introduce humans to aliens on Earth. Got me big time Prince

I loved the story in this episode, and the art style really worked well, but as for the ending...
Well, the moral of the story is not to take the trailers at face value! I love the idea that the prince got kicked out of the TV studio for being a nut who believes in aliens. In answer to TinyRedLeaf - we should think ourselves lucky they didn't adapt this earlier, then we might never have seen it. It certainly wouldn't have been such a refreshing change to the usual that it is now! |

Level E's manga was created between 1995 to 1997 and FFVII was made during 1997. So if that poster was not just an Anime Original to spark our eyes. Then they both pretty much came out the same year.

Oh, and the illlustration effect used in episode 4 is basically a manga-based HDR effect, like this:

Going into episode 4 I already knew I'll be set up in one way or the other. I prepared myself so I'll not invest any emotion into the story. And then the guy runs out of the restaurant with the girl soon to follow behind. I'm like, no no silly girl, don't follow him and at the same time I was feeling little sorry for this pitiful alien. And then his mouth is shown all bloody with tears streaming down his face. By this time I'm totally taken back by the brutality of this story.
And then the prince shows up..... DOH!

Finally caught up to ep. 3 yesterday. It's was quite a surprise to me that this show is so enjoyable. I really like the OP song "Cold Finger Girl" by Kuriyama Chiaki, if I didn't knew this was the OP song for Level E, I would have thought it's a new song for a second season of Nana (remember the band Blackstone). One of the best show this season.
