Solid episode. Seeing Mine's past was pretty tragic, but it's good to see she's bound and determined to win. The crucifixion part wasn't near as graphic as the manga version, people's legs were gone. But still, a very gripping moment. It showed how extreme the tyranny of the capital really is. F*ck that Minister.
My only issue is how Tatsumi is able to hold that guy. He's a grown ass man. He could lift Tatsumi if he wanted to. It just looked awkward in this scene. I'm really looking forward to next week, it's quite the fight. First time we see Teigu vs. Teigu. |

I'm certainly ok with them holding up on the crucifixion part. You got the message well enough. It was a bit strange, but I can't really relate size to strength in this show. I mean Tatsumi cut up a giant dragon, someone with that kind of physical strength should be able to hang onto someone larger than him and limit his movement long enough to take a shot.

It was a pretty good episode since Mine got some time to shine. It showed what her goals are and her reason for them. Nothing wrong with her having a selfish end goal too. Her interactions with Tatsumi are always entertaining. This episodes also showed just how corrupt the capital is and how much of monster the prime minster is.
I am somewhat sad the manga joke was left out.

Another incredibly solid episode; I really do love how they make tatsumi get a taste of mid level assassinations before he goes chasing off the seriously dangerous characters of this series and god damn the music was good!! I swear I wont complain if the fighting music was used in movies like black hawk down it would make such perfect fit, really love middle eastern feeling.

Do not watch this show for the subtlety! Do not watch this show for the subtlety!
This episode was slightly better than the last one, but its still really struggling with the comedy. I wouldn't mind too much, but it kind of stands out when I'm watching Kuroshitsuji which handles comedy and drama/horror much better. Preview looks interesting though. |

Mine is less interesting and adorable than I expected....
although Tatsumi should be happy to accompany her for a date It's just my opinion but I think Mine is too vulnerable... She should hold a short-ranged weapon to support herself more in battlefield Tatsumi has no special skill... but I think his guts is awesome... He know when he should kill and when he should play around... I like this kind of character oh.. need more Akame in upcoming episodes |
