What I want to know is why haven't the Japanese Gods being at least mentioned since all of this is happening in Japan!!

I want to see Japanese mythology in action!!

I want to see Issei spilling oceans of blood when he sees Amaterasu Oppai!!!

Also, I want to see Thor and Lung in battle.

And Atena Oppai!! (but that's a personal dream of mine)

The reason why Odin came to Japan was to meet the Japanese gods. Also I believe the kusanagi sword was mention too!

i hope Ishibumi dont use the Holy Grail in the future to revive some of the heroines.

for example:

- Issei defeat Rizezvim but Trihexa got unsealed
- Trihexa kills Rias
- Rias last words "Ise... i love you... "
- Volume END

- Issei goes enraged and entered [Infinite-Dream-Ddraig-Mode]

- beats the crap out of trihexa
- Azazel take back the Holy Grail from Rizezvim and revive Rias

killing a character only has impact when the reader is in doubt if they'll stay dead or if the author would bring them back.

since the holy grail exists it would take away from the suspense and drama involving the death.

+ i don't want any of the issei team to actually DIE that would be just horrible.
i've said this before enemy deaths im all for but no touchy the good guys!
my frail heart can't take a death anymore especially since i cried like a baby at asia's and issei's deaths.

that is the thing we agree of beside having more heroine death mean more trauma for issei for not saving them and .... i dont want it to happen. So no i hate that scenario.

If Rias died, even for a very short time, I'd probably cry. But there's absolutely no way Ishibumi will do that. DxD is blessed with a fantastic author

There are only three good guys that I think might actually die, Azazel, Vali, and Arthur.

There was some foreshadowing with Arthur and I think Azazel might die because that would be the heroes losing their teacher, its a moment where Ise doesn't have a mentor to go to for advise.

Although considering that this is a comedy its rather unlikely we will get a hero death.

^ No, volume seventeen really had nothing to do with 666. Instead, it's focused on Rossweisse (who does have a connection with 666, but that really doesn't have an effect on the plot at all) and Saji. The main setting is Sona's school.
