So, who was it that predicted this arc would continue into next year, hmm? I think many of us saw that coming from a mile away even back in January. By the looks of it, it isn't gonna conclude until next year, or worse case the next year after. If Al is woken up, there isn't any return to peaceful times, and Tsukune can throw his third year of high school out the window in favor of a more military setting in taking on Alucard... unless something happens that allows them to subdue the beast quickly... and without the use of nukes.

Though in a way, Gyokuro could also be overestimating Alucard's capabilities, and underestimating the abilities of the group and humanity. Things are much different in these times than in the past where WMDs didn't exist. As humans seemed to focus on destroying things on a massive scale unlike Yokai who focus more on an individuals abilities, I think a war waged the human way would be far more effective in taking out Alucard... but there isn't an army of thousands of yokai to do that, so Tsukune and his group have to become the crack team of combat specialists charged with dealing with Fairy Tale and Alucard. We'll call them "The Y Team", jk.
agreed yokai are actuallly few in number some races are actually on the verge of extinction like yuki onnas and succubuses and if devil summoner game is anything to go some youkai require humans to survive to kill off humanity would mean killing off those youkai like Gyokuro cares

I doubt Gyokuro even cares for other youkai, judging from what we know of her so far shes probably doing this for her own personal gain.

Of course, now that Akasha's out of the way, she's free to enact whatever demented machinations she has in store. She probably believes she'll become the supreme ruler of a new world, of the youkai, by the youkai, for the youkai. Though I doubt she'll live through the duration of this arc. Someone is gonna take her down. Whether it be Mikogami or Fuhai, or possibly Miyabe trolling her, dunno.

I also don't know why Ikeda's enacting Alucard's awakening for this arc, especially when the heroes have no chance against him. The only good thing I could see from this is possibly it revives Akasha as well, but that's a huge risk to take for such a goal. Will it really be worth it, endangering an entire planet to bring back one person? And so help me, if that's the reason Akuha's helping Gyokuro, I want to see her broken into tiny little pieces and fed to Alucard. Know your place, Akuha Shuzen! The world is not yours to exist in!

Iron Maiden is a very appropriate technique for Ruby, who loves pain.

Nice to see the girls kicking ass too.

Enacting Alucard's awakening is indeed a dangerous move on Ikeda's part, but Alucard's awakening doesn't necessarily mean the end of the world as characters in this series have believed so, remember good always triumphs over evil, and i do agree at Tsukune's and the gang's current level of power they would be no match, the disks Hokuto gave to them in chapter 28 probably had information on Alucard as well and Touhou looked over the disks and if this were true than he along with Tenmei and the Bus Driver would have taken precautions in case of this unlikely event, which is now starting to become reality.

As for Akua, shes still batshit crazy as usual , and for Akasha i'm really hoping she does get revived and out of that monster, after being confirmed that shes alive in chapter 42, she needs to see her daughter and meet her future son-in-law

Way to go Ruby strength isnt everything in battle. Raika lost because he underestimated his opponent and arrogant enough to believe that there was no way she could defeat him. Outsmarting your enemy and making yourself feel weaker is a basic strategy. Even if it means getting his and taking damage on purpose. Ruby showed that with quick thinking the will to win even if it cost you your life and the ability to analyze your enemy powers and find a weakness is how a battle should be fought.

He never thought that Rubys suit was only in defensive mode which is why she could absorb so much punishment he also never thought that he suit would be insulator. Great fight and its obvious that Rubys powers have grown if Moka could feel their pressure that far away maybe the team is not as weak as some may think.

god this waiting for new chapters is killing me.

i was just wonder...is possible that Alucard can go back in his normal form?

This would be really interesting to see...however..i know that is impossible...

However i liked the fight..but she has win very easily..and i didn't expect so easily...

Ruby Iron maiden.....look like i started to like her very much..after know that she is really a masochist

I hope that Akasha get revived..i can't wait to see her cause Tsukune ..

Like this:

Akasha: haaa welcome home Tsukune!!! (she embraces Tsukune)

Tsukune: emmm..h-e-l-l-o..........

Moka: Mom!! Know your place!! super Kick...hahah i just see this scene in my mind

Maybe, though I fear with the way things are going, it's going to lead to a Deus Ex Machine style solution, and I'd always thought the mangaka was better than that. What are they gonna do, seal him away again? They can't keep doing that forever.

Unless... Miyabe and his team have their own plan in dealing with the beast. I'd figured his main objective was eliminating Gyokuro. Oh gosh, don't tell me... don't tell me he's gonna use Alucard's awakening to do just that. ARGH! Madness! I truly hope I'm wrong on this.

As for Akuha, definitely. She doesn't belong in this world, she just needs to go. And if Tsukune doesn't finish her off, I hope Akasha does. It was Akuha that put her in that predicament in the first place, she's long overdue for some serious comeuppance. I tend to say that a lot, don't I? ^^;; Anyway, looking forward to the impending Akuha beatdown. Until then...

Now here's the real question, Who do you guys think is the true last boss of the series? I find it doubtful to be Alucard, I think he'll awaken and be a big baddie to be taken out, but he'll lack that special character umph to be the last boss. We still haven't seen big daddy starbucks yet, Sure they're raiding FT atm, but I feel like there's gonna be a lot more to it afterwards.

well what I see is that tsukune and moka will have problems with alucard so they will call for backup...which will turn out to be space marines and they will take on the alien queen xD

my guess is that kaluhas mom (the current leader of FT) will turn out to be kinda the last boss.... before alucard wakes up and it will turn out that he will not listen to anyone and will attack everyone on the flying island since alucard devours ayashi energy (he wanted to do this in suzen residence in past too )

I dont know why but I have a feeling that Gyokuro was the one that influanced Akuha with the whole "wake up alucard and destroy the world" thing... but Kaluha looks to be kinda on the other side... that doesnt want that to happen (miyabi is kinda a traitor or has his own motives...maybe secret agent of Issa) and doesnt want for her sisters to suffer...

anyway gyokuro will be kinda the final boss from which we will learn what happened in past and maybe to Issa... then alucard will wake up and maybe kill gyokuro...and if not than will do the attempt to kill while tsukune and band saves her and everyone will have to face alucard

the latest monster is for sure Alucard... since tsukune has to use those wings of his and show the full power of his powers ^^

Indeed, there's still those eggs to worry about, which were planted by Miyabe and his subordinates. I still believe he's using the group in order to eliminate the other subdivision leaders and Gyokuro, thus leaving him the only authority left in Fairy Tale. As for Alucard, I have no idea how he fares into Miyabe's plans. They'll have to deal with Alucard eventually, though destroying him is something not even the Three Dark Lords could've accomplished. And they're nowhere near strong enough to face him, so I can't see why Ikeda's having him awaken now. I guess I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed and wait for the next exciting chapter. Until then...

My only remotest idea on how to "destroy" Alucard is that they may find a way to de-merge his accumulated Ayashi powers and in turn render him mortal again. Personally, I don't think this will happen as there has been no hints to it so far.

@Bus driver: I still would like to know more about him because he appears to be more than just a youkai bus driver. There's a somewhat ominou/mysterious vibe around him. Again, I don't want some "WTF legendary XY"-revelation or something like that, but I would approve IF there was more to him than it seems now.

I know this is impossible..but, for me, if Alucard can go back (for some reason) in his normal form..I think he might be the final boss...

The true final boss of this series is actually Moka herself and Tsukune must confront her in the bedroom

In a way I agree with you.
The way Alucard is right now just doesn't appeal to me. If he is the main boss of the series it would mean the final fight is going to be a big monster fight. Though I don't mind some transformation or something along the line of what Hokuto showed, but something as big as Alucard sounds unappealing to watch/read about.
However unless we get some backstory about Alucard that characterizes him I can hardly call him a villain more a rampant monster.
So unless he gets some development I rather see a different end boss.

hehe what if Tsukune will be the final boss... like the ghul takes over completly... and all girls combined will have to fight him... to their tears and pain in heart....

kinda desperate to fight him with not killing him and bringing tsukune they all love back.... so maybe it would be the ideal place for moka's kiss (not bite).... and maybe after that moka will understand that they should remain together becouse if tsukune will change back their combined strenght is the only way to save him... so polygamy aproval would happen xD but with the promise to be the first wife ^^

Here's a thought for the possibility of Alucard... suppose that his current form is defeated through whichever means, but he's not the final boss; later, as the gang goes to take on the true final boss, a mysterious but extremely powerful vampire joins up with them, and it turns out that this is Alucard restored for one last round to take down the Shuzens

... and yes, I know we're all reserving Issa showing up to help against final boss, but I'd thought I'd throw this idea out anyways.

And on a side note, because I'm actually starting to read the chapters, it has been confirmed that Moka is Final Boss (re-read the pumpkin pie chapter to get the reference)

I can see Issa actually helping them, he did support Akasha's wishes over Gyokuro, so he definitely would be willing to help his own daughters and re-establish himself as head of the Shuzen family, i hope nothing happened to him hes kinda cool, though its not often parents tell their children to kill eachother, hes probably locked up somewhere, thats the only thing i'm going with at the moment, however, we probably won't know anything until the battle with either Gyokuro or Akua.
