Lol as I told my friends- This is the only RPG that lets me, a spellcaster, wield a big-ass two handed weapon so no way in Hell am I going to pass up this opportunity Optimal Build be damned !

Is it item-specific?

Because it could be that your item has a tiny bit of damage in it that needed repairing. Funny that any used item that has less than 1 durability loss can be selected in the AH, but bug out when you try to confirm it.

It's only happening when I try to sell something of mine on the AH, but the items aren't reddened out, so I know it's not the durability. It's not the auction limit either, because the first three items I attempted to sell both gave me that error.

Well, I've had that problem when trying to sell a Legendary shield I have called "Denial". It would let me sell it due to said error, no matter how much I try.

It's awful. It should have been common sense to use town or whatever start point you had to be temp invincible.

At this point I'd call whoever designed this to be stupid, but that would be an insult to stupid people.

I'm thinking that the reason you're not invincible in town is because there are acts where you fight within town limits, like in Caldeum Bazaar in Act II or Bastion's Keep in Act III. Should've just made it a toggle where events that require you to fight in town removes your invincibility or something.

Actually, that's what I am trying to say. If an item has a "tiny" bit of damage, that doesn't add up to 1 whole point of durability, then it wouldn't be reddened out in the AH. But the damage is still there; so you will hit a bug if you tried to sell it. I solve it by spending one gold to repair it.

Your problem could be other bugs, but this is the one bug that annoyed me personally.

Picked up around 65k selling a variety of level 20-45 items. If I knew that cleaning out my stash was so profitable, I'd do it more.

I didn't sell shit at first, but after running the values against comparable groups on the market, I managed to price everything a little less than average and the gold came rolling in.

Vallen's note about level req and relative quality = value helped; it seemed to be obvious but harder to carry out. Selling out even lower level items will be profitable as long as it has a niche.

Though I'm not really sure how I got 8k from 200ish bow when more dps ones sell for like 5k, but hey...

Doesn't matter, just pick a weapon that will give you an attack boost. A 800 DPS weapon is around 200k give or take, sometimes less if it's just raw DPS. The market has really tanked recently, I recall selling a 720 DPS weapon for 1 mil just a week ago.
