I don't know what makes me happier, Medaka finally losing first place to someone else in something or Misogi finally getting the victory he's always wanted...............

OK that's a lie, seeing Misogi so happy wins hands down. And the fact that Medaka came in second, came in second to Misogi makes it even better. I can't imagine how happy he must feel, to not only have his first win, but to get his first win over someone who can't lose.

Congratulations Misogi!!!

I'm also happy to see Mukae is on the list, maybe he'll bring her back in the future. Kei's been in the Top 10 twice, and I'm still hoping to see him again .

Congratulations Kumagawa. That victory must taste sweet, especially with all the hadaka aprons nearby.

Best. Color spread. Ever. Also worth noting is the increase in votes and popularity Medaka Box had in comparison to the popularity poll last year. The amount Kumagawa got this time is a little over 1000 less than the entire number of votes in the last poll.

The top 2 didn't surprise me. I fully expected Kumagawa to take the #1 spot. He isn't just one of the best characters in the manga but in the entire magazine period. Medaka coming in 2nd place was where I had her pegged this time around.

What really surprised me was how popular Munakata still is and Naze despite not playing a role in this arc still managed to come in 3rd. Mukae I expected to get a lot of love since she seemed like a favorite among the Japanese base.

Akune taking 6th place means that the recent arc must have been doing wonders for his popularity. lol @ Zenkichi's position. From 2nd to 8th is quite the drop. They must be finally catching on.

Some one please explain to me why Hirado Royal is popular, that chick in the very background. This has been bugging me since the last popularity poll. She's only been oneshotted and given like a couple of meaningless pages way in the beginning. WHAT THE HELL!?

Don't forget that they were taking the polls kind of a while ago, meaning pretty much most of this arc wasn't even out when the deadline came. So that could mean that characters such as Akune would have probably been even more popular had this arc been taken into account♥

And after making a quick rereading of the whole arc, I noticed that Ajimu speculated that Medaka will further upgrade her Mars Mode (when her hair turns pitch black) to "Forsaken God Mode".
