Reminds me of the Engrish parts in the Hetalia anime, for some reason. Not really innacurate, but badly enunciated.

Incidentally the nosebleed = aroused visual joke never really happened with Shinji himself. Even in the games, and during those times where he did bleed from his face, it was usually due to impact-induced injury (via punch or kick nominally thrown by Asuka).

For those of you who have seen the movie, I have a question.

Is the eye-patch Asuka is wearing in the preview for the next Rebuild film a medical eye-patch, such as the ones seen in the original series/End of Evangelion, or a full, outright pirate patch?

Thanks for an answer.

EDIT: After looking through a few pages (I just joined in), it appears the patch is a pirate patch. My bad for the question before looking harder. >_<

Wild Mass Guessing at this point, as really things are alluded to, but never directly stated. For example, the color of the sea (red), the scar on the Moon (seen when Kaworu awakened), and even Kaworu's dialogue.
