Oh really. I'm surprised to hear that, seeing they have all been out for some time.

But yeah, over 6 OVAs overall Yukari gets a very good showing.

Yes Yukari did indeed.

And in the last OVA I was happy to see a little Hana focus.

Hana was a little TOO enthusiastic during the party. Are we sure the scriptwriters weren't taking cues from the fanwork this time around? XD

Don't know about the fanwork for Hana, but the scriptwriters settled the debate about the volleyball club possibly wanting an upgrade from their current Type 89... quite firmly in fact.

The fan interpretation for Hana is... something you'd expect in a series like Saki really (double irony there!). If you don't get it by now, she's often shown with the lily prominently.

Yeah, I know. As a person who wants to see them upgrade, I'm not perfectly happy.

Not that I denigrate the thing's achievements, but reality suggests they should be outgrowing it. I guess I care about the characters more than the tank.

It's the first car syndrome. Kind of how some people love their 70s Volkswagen beetle despite owning a Ferrari.

Maybe they could be persuaded to leave it behind (with salutes and tearful farewells) if they got to test drive another tank. And the rest of the team leaned on them.

They've started to show signs that they want a tank that can at least do some kind of damage.

They've managed to push that Type 89 into all manner of maneuvers. There is no telling how souped up that engine and suspention are to allow that tanks to keep out of reach of T-34s and other tanks for so long.

Maybe swap the gun for the 3.7 inch trollgun howitzer on the Cruiser Mk. II, perhaps? It's my preferred gun for trolling - that and the 40mm pom-pom.

Or steal a T-34 from somewhere.

Maybe it'll turn into the tank version of the Millenium Falcon...

As in it may not look like much, but it has it where it counts?

Yes.

Suppose Wargaming.net painted that Hetzer in Ooarai camo and insignia and drove it around...how about summer's Comiket (C84)?

I think that's for Sentai Filmworks's appearance at Anime Expo.
