Side note - My chapter 5 is 2.5k words now, and it's still 50% done, probably this will be my longest chapter at the moment XD

The OC role is more of a mentor, he doesn't engage enemy IS directly ( Let's his mini mobile suit army do the dirty work.) Has many gizmos available to him

@ZeroXSEED The OC has a limited number of powerful 1/100 Gunplas that can fight IS directly , for it a lot of time and effort to build one. He has MANY mass production units like GM III, Nemo, Jegans etc

Louise was the one noticed that after he's getting aroused and quickly saved him. That part actually covered with his upper uniform, still, you know.... Rito is a beast

@Eratas ah i understand ...... i can assure you the gunpla's with not steal the limelight over the IS unit . the story that trying to make is adventure oriented and humor. the gunplas are just plot device, more of a side kick ( Well it will have it moments) and the butt of the jokes too

No, they worship the concept of the girls being infallible. Notice that male OC's get more flack than female ones. Seriously, you have to make your character noticeably weaker than the females if you don't want flack.

No, only Louise find it, afterward, he met Chifuyu, who scold him for being reckless (he and Haruna was there to escort Ren and Lala back to Deviluke, but they're separated due to girls rushing to chase Ichika). This happened between V3 and V4 arc.

The problem also lies in the fact most male OC's are blatant stu's. Look at the past stories.

It's really a cycle

1. Author felt like creating a male OC that is as good as female cast.
2. Ended up creating Marty Stu that is better than Ichika.
3. Reader hate Marty Stu, hence the increased sensitivity.
4. Author switch to more acceptable OC guy and make Ichika more badass than canon.
5. Reader accept it happily.

I myself trying to represent them as 'equal', not in power level or status, but as in they respect each other as individual and fellow human. Some guys are superior than girls but with convincing reason and vice versa. Feminist and Misandrist getting the short end of stick in my stories.
