Mimi doesn't look like a contender either. Perhaps Mimi is a "new" immortal, as in newly became an immortal, compared to Rin who has at least 60 years of experience and life.

Mimi is physically like a young girl. As a immortal, she cannot become physically stronger or more agile therefore she had to let the adults do the physical stuff.

She could be older than Rin. From what Sayara said, the immortality here works similar to Highlander - you get frozen at the point you receive it.

Rin and Mimi's relationship suggests they've been....associates.....for an extended period of time. What is considered "extended" for beings with no real sense of time? That could be argued, but I doubt Mimi is a recent addition.... Er..what sort of measurement would a immortal use?

i don't think mimi and rin have been together for more than 100 years. in ep 3, rin explains to mimi and maeno how she meets yoshie-san after WWII (about 1945) so i guess that means mimi hasn't met her yet at that time.

That seems the most likely timeline, unless they got seperated or werent always together,etc. I am really liking the 'immortal' part about this show, its different than alot of other anime, kinda like Lost Odyssey, but ah well.

I dont want his son to die i mean thats just two cruel first the womens brother then her husband killing Kouki's son off would just be horrible. But then again this series doesnt sugar coat anything. As for killing Mimi thats still up in the air I think Rin would go ape if that happen.

Did Yuki willingly allow Teruyuki to associate with people in Asougi Consulting or is Teruyuki acting on his own (trying to find out what happened to his dad or seeking aid of Asougi Consulting)? Yuki knew that Meano, Rin & Mimi were in a very dangerous line of work. As for Mimi, she isn't exactly safe as long as spore eating Apos is around (Even though he seems to be keeping balance between Angels, Immortals and humans). I don't want any of them to die too except Apos .

I hace a feeling that the man who kisses Rin in the credits is very well implied to be a much older version of Kouki's son, which would justify the uncharacteristically tender and emotional response from her.

Another long and interesting episode for Mnemosyne. This episode was also fairly sad for various reasons... If there was one good thing, it's the fact that Teruki didn't die or anything.
But things sure moved. The office, after 4 episodes and many years, is gone, and Mimi/co. leave.
I assume there will be no more of Teruki or anything Kouki related after this episode.

Wow, the beginning took me by surprise. Though it took place in 2.0=Virtual Reality, so it wasn't physically real.

KOUKIIIIIIII!!!
In the meantime, his wife is still alive (I really do feel sorry for her)... Though it seems his son has turned into one of those punks. Tch... No resemblance at all to his parents, at this point.
Also, that police officer is old and retired now. Ah, how time flies (in anime).
And the world is decaying because everyone is so absorbed with 2.0 and won't function in 1.0...
The red-hair is STILL alive... Robotic/Cyborg though, it seems... And she's a subordinate of Apos.
Rin and Mimi are the same as usual, though it seems Rin has taken the hobby of stalking, I mean, watching over Teruki. For obvious reasons.

Anyways, Teruki goes to Rin after witnessing a virtual idol, Ruon, get killed in real life, which is pretty much impossible.
Rin explains about Yggdrasil and related to Teruki after he witnesses her regenerating after her fight with red-hair. Needless to say, it shook him up badly.
They later find out that Ruon was a real person, but she died five years ago by her father's hands.
He later gets a call from his mom about Kouki's death anniversary, but then Ruon appears on his cell phone and asks him to come to 2.0.
Needless to say, it didn't turn out well, since just as Ruon and Teruki started getting it on, Ruon's "father" appears and starts deleting data. Though Mimi manages to eject Teruki from 2.0.
Then, some troopers crash into the office... and kills the dog...!! DOGGIEEEE!!
On the car (escaping), they give off a huge explanation about what Ruon is (basically put, a program...), until the troopers appear again, with tanks. Teruki gets taken away, Mimi and Rin get shot and blown up.
By the way, the dog is still alive... At least, more about what happened to Ruon is revealed. The Ruon Teruki met in real life was just an android, and when the android was destroyed, Ruon escaped back to 2.0.
More is explained about why Teruki is being hunted, and the police officer gets shot to death!!
POLICE OFFICERRRRR!!
In the end, Ruon proved to be an obsessive stalker yandere who wanted Teruki all to herself and hated any females who got near him.
The android she was in got mince-meated along with Rin on the airplane.
Teruki comes back and sees the ruins of the office. Mimi leaves for somewhere...

Rin was talking to someone unknown in the episode...

Looks like Mimi must still pay that nameless info girl again... geez, is it too much to ask a real scene between Rin and Mimi for once ? I mean, it's like the second time Mimi gets raped or something in order to save Rin. I'm getting sick of it; she deserves a better treatment.
