But just to point something out here, this will be the 3rd consecutive time Darkness received an opening color spread. Not that I'm complaining or anything, but is that normal for a monthly that's just starting out? Because I can't recall any other series being given that sort of special treatment.

Well, it's not like Darkness is released in a short interval, so perhaps they're trying to emphasize that a release of new chapter is 'special'...?

Isn't that joke baseball character who kept getting shot down in a couple of chapters the school's number one male human athlete? I don't remember his name but I swear he was in a couple of chapters...

Rito is good looking but he suffers from most harem-genre leads... "noballs-itis." Still... who the hell reads To Love-Ru and actually gives a damn about Rito... but I guess his female-form is another matter...

Rito was very good at soccer in middle school, but I'm not sure he was #1. At any rate, I think it's safe to assume he's fairly athletic.

I freakin hate when that happens. You see a rather inticing picture in thumbnail form, only to hover over the image and realize it isn't a thumbnail. One of the many annoyances of the internet .

I don't think there's an official ranking or anything. All I can tell you is that Mikado is the biggest, and Mikan the flatest (or is it Nana? A closer inspection is required).

After comparing the two I say Mikan has already surpassed Nana. Mikan's growing up nicely. Nana will probably remain the eternal flat-chested girl of the series.

A little more than a year has passed since the first volume of TLR. Reading the Darkness section of Jump SQ the other day reminded Mikan is still in elemantary school. Can you believe that? She's making me feel like such a pedo... ah, whatever.

I don't know about the other characters, but Mikan has definitely grown a bit. Her character design has also changed a LOT since the beginning of the manga, I was shocked when I browsed through volume 1 again. See for yourself:

She looks so much cuter now. Her hair is sex, too.

I'd say all of them have changed over time. Nana and especially Momo have also got changes in her designs.

Yui had her boobs get bigger - this being a canon part of the story as well.
