Well. Despite my copy of Wild flower still being in international mail, I have grabbed another copy to listen to the full version of hikari...
Colour me impressed. The song is indeed beautiful, especially now in a full version - made me watch the special credits of ep 14 a couple of times over again. All that remains now is for my actual disk to come in the mail.. next week sometime, if I'm lucky. Oh, and Sachi Tainaka's album too. Of course. ^^;; -Andiyar

And now for what many of us have been waiting for... a single announcement (yes, that's right, a single annoucement) of Kimi to no Ashita!
Unfortunately, not until next February - the 7th of February, to be precise, but it is definitely coming. Buy online @ CDJapan. So probably an album containing it as well, but not until next year sometime. Interesting. -Andiyar

@ Question
Perhaps it's better to simply point out that 'Jyukai' is the name of the group, not of the singer, and let you draw your own conclusions? Her name is Manami Watanabe. His name is Yoshiaki Dewa. Together they are... Fill in the blanks, ne? ^^ -Andiyar

Huh, i always assumed that Jyukai was the singer's name, or at least her stage name. Ive never had her referred to anything as other than that before, nor have i even heard that it was a band......most seem to think the guitar guy is just an extra pretty face for the vids.

@ Question
Fun isn't it? Yes, Jyukai is the band name, not Manami Watanabe's stage name. She's the vocalist and lyricist for Jyukai, whereas Yoshiaki Dewa is the composer and guitarist - probably the pianist as well. Oh, and yay at my copy of Wild flower coming in the mail this morning. Listening in the car for most of the day, beautiful album. ^^ -Andiyar

For the interested, Sachi Tainaka's first album, 'Dear...' is coming out on the 7th of March next year, and contains full versions of both disillusion and Kirameku Namida wa Hoshi ni. No word yet on containing Kimi to no Ashita, but the CDJapan listing claims that it will include all of her singles, and Kimi to no Ashita is being released as the B-side to her single Aitaiyo in February.
Oh yes - link. Enjoy! -Andiyar

I can't fricking stop listening to the OST. I just got it about 3 days ago, and I've been listening to it whenever I have free time. It's driving me insane, and it makes me want to watch the whole series over again. Such an amazing soundtrack.

I'm pretty sure that's Fuyuki Enkei, track 15. Translation from Amazon.com says "Winter Trees in the Distant View" (don't ask why).
And yeah, Kimi to no Ashita is really awesome, definitely one of my favourites. It gives so much more weight and meaning to Saber's departure. *Looks at datestamp* Not bad, a 5-month resurrection... |
