Last Sinner recently recommended MariMite to me. I thoroughly loved it, and in fact I went into a bit of withdrawal after finishing it.

To cope with that withdrawal, I picked up the most MariMite-esque show I could think of: Strawberry Panic.

That was kind of like switching from actual nicotine to a nicotine patch, but it basically did the job.

But now I just finished Strawberry Panic, and I need a new patch!

Any suggestions, my fellow anime lovers?!

I don't know if you've seen this or not but I'm sure that Sasameki Koto has what you're looking for. If you haven't seen this series watch the first episode and tell me what you think.

As for your requirements. Does genre matter or does it have to contain school life premises?

Simoun - I think I suggested it in a thread of yours once. All girl cast and has a partner dynamic going on, flying partners rather than soeurs. The yuri is explicit too.

I'll second Sasameki Koto, though the anime will leaving you wanting to read the manga since it doesn't cover all the material.

Although it isn't quite an actual yuri series, it has a very similar to feel to Strawberry Panic, maybe Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru? As aside from the MC being a very high level trap and not a girl, it's very pretty close.

Do you want yuri in it?

Because Aria series give similar feeling as MariMite but it is friendship.
