...By the way, does anyone know whether they're gonna release a full version of the Ever Forever-remix that was played in the credits of the last episode? I assumed it would be on the second soundtrack, but that one only had the TV-size version.

I believe the piece on the second soundtrack is the version used in the last episode. Just re-played at a certain point.

Um, yeah, that's what I said... I wanted to know if anyone knew when the full version was gonna come out, seeing how I have a hard time believing that they're not gonna release one at all. I mean, when did ANY music-companies releasing anime-music ever intentionally miss a chance to release another overpriced single-CD?

Okay guys, I could use a bit of help here. I have on my clipboard the promotional vid for this series, which was uploaded to the series site some time last summer.

http://www.ef-melo.com/swf/trailer_mov.swf

Now, originally, I assumed that would've been the OP. When I was proven wrong, I then thought it could be an instrumental mix of ever forever. WRONG AGAIN. Now over the course of the series, I managed to catch another mix of this ONCE near the end of ep12, as part of "It through eternity", track 33 on OST2. Also on both OSTs are various mixes of the track used in the trailer. Now the real problem is......I still don't have an ID of that track because it's not on the OST. Anyone mind helping me out?

Basically what you'd expected from DVD --- better quality compared to the TV broadcast. Though if you're going to go that far, best of going with blu-ray. In my opinion that's the way this show should be watched.

Well with memories they did add a few things to the DVD release.

I've seen some episodes from the Blu-Ray disks and I can second this wholeheartedly. Wow! Sharp, bright, and creamy.

To the actual episodes or are they specials?

Why can't anyone just give me a direct answer...

Ummm, help? I know that the DVD discussions and other discussions about differences in quality and whatnot are important, and something that even I would like to read about......but am I to assume that no one has an answer to my BGM question?

Sorry didn't see it.
If I'm not mistaken it's a track on Alato. I don't have the cd with me to check now but I'm pretty sure it's on disc 3.

Speaking of which, though, that album is basically impossible to get internationally at this point. I think the only option is maybe a proxy service, but it's pretty hard to even find it in a normal Japanese web store. That's the problem with Comiket stuff, even when it does get some form of limited wider release. But if anyone does happen to know of a store that's selling it and will ship it Internationally, let me know!

Alato wasn't a Comiket release.
I was able to buy it the Kinokuniya in New York... though for 2 times the original price

As far as I can tell, it was originally released at Comiket, and then sold in "regular stores" 2 months later. I guess maybe you could say that there was a sort of "early bird" release at Comiket.

I guess I should check the Kinokuniya website to see if they still have it. You never know... Paying double the price is sort of a foregone conclusion at this point.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

EDIT: Hm, either I'm missing something, or that track's still in the air.

Incredibly different. The content is the same, but the video quality is so much better.

I refer you to the following two images:
http://www.chihiro-subs.com/wp-conte...02/ef01raw.png
http://www.chihiro-subs.com/wp-conte.../02/ef01bd.png

That should show you without a doubt why the DVD versions are so much better.
