Have you seen her in the HBO movie, Temple Grandin? I watched it with one of Temple's cousins, and he thought it was a very true portrayal of that remarkable woman. I thought it was one of the best movies I've seen in the past couple of years.

I just did a rewatch of 'Inception'... what a terrible movie. Christopher Nolan has yet to make a film I enjoy. The guy is easily one of the worst blockbuster directors working today.

Anyway, I'm going to go watch 'Naked Lunch' to get this bad taste out of my mouth.

Slumdog Millionaire(2008): Really good film and bittersweet story. Left me with heartfelt message involving the things and details you learn in your life. Really liked the musical at the end too

Just watched the entire 'Bourne' trilogy on bluray for the first time in a while.

'The Bourne Ultimatum' is easily the best in the trilogy. Love that movie.

Rewatched the bluray for 'Alien' -- leaves me feeling nostalgic. I'm really hoping that he (Scott) brings this same type of suspense to 'Prometheus.'

I just saw The Silence of the Lambs (1991) for the first time today... It really blew me away. Easily now in my top ten favorite movies. Clarice Starling and Hannibal Lecter are now becoming my favorite movie characters as well. Other than some of the explicit scenes that made me go

, I really have no complaints. Yesterday, I saw Transformers 3, and this really washed away that bad taste in my mouth. Really, how did Hollywood fall so far from grace?

Currently watching 'The Lovely Bones' - a fairly underrated movie that didn't warrant the criticism it received upon it's release. It's much better than the book, that's for sure. I mean, really, what more could Peter Jackson have done with those ridiculous and incoherent metaphors from the novel? I'd say he did all he could. By biggest complaint about the movie so far is the acting in some spots and Mark Whalberg's ever-evolving douchebagery. Seriously, is there any film this guy doesn't ruin? Also, Jackson gets a big slap on the wrist for toning down the brutality of Susie's murder for the sake of attaining a PG-13 rating. This is a film where its brutality in the protagonists' murder is an essential part of the narrative. Jackson loses a bit of my respect for playing to the studios instead of letting the creativity take reign and making something without compromise.

^Boogie Nights? Three Kings? I know this is more of a personal preference (i.e., I don't expect many people to have liked it), but I loved The Other Guys...

That being said, The Lovely Bones is a very good underrated film. I thoroughly enjoyed it when I saw it in theatres 2 or so years ago (whenever it came out).

As I recall, the last one was Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Not having seen the previous two movies I didn't know what to expect; went to the cinema with my family that day and this was the only decent thing showing. The trailer showed some nice special effects, which the critics confirmed, so I thought: "How bad can it be?" I did look at its score on Rotten Tomatoes which wasn't too great but it too confirmed that the special effects were good. Figured that was enough since I do like me some eye-candy.

Didn't watch the movie in 3D so I don't know about that but even like this the special effects were indeed good. If you're wondering how exhausting it can be to look at quality sfx for two and a half hours, let me tell you: a lot. Though the acting and dialogue lines weren't corny enough to make me puke, the script sure was. Everything in the movie was done in a roundabout way with so many unnecessary detours I though the movie would never end. It did do a great job at wearing me out - with all the visual porn flying around it's hard to say it was truly boring (though some would surely disagree with that), but it sure was a pain to endure.

Saw Cowboys and Aliens yesterday. Daniel Craig was awesome, but the movie had a lot of unintentionally funny bits, some cringe-inducing dialogue and things they should've really left out. I did enjoy it quite a bit overall though, it was good fun. That bracelet was epic!

I checked out the original case and DNA evidence showed that Leigh wasn't the killer in 02 or something like that. Plus, that explains why there were so many people that fit one part, but the other ruled them out. I think it was Rick Marshall, Leigh, and that movie guy. One of them was assigned to write the letters, the other to kill, and the last one to write the ciphers.
