Come to think about it, it's really interesting.

Gunpla Academy, with their coach had history as a world-class builder, relies more on gimmick.
It doesn't mean they didn't had any skills, but their skills rely much on gimmick rather than actual skill (normal weaponry).
I'm not sure about Wilfrid, but I can see the other two will found difficulty when using another unit that's not customized for them.

The Gunpla academy is way too arrogant for their own good. Well I can see Kijima doing this since he disliked the opponent during the camp...but still, that was a rather villainous moment.

Can't believe that Minato's Gundam Tryon 3 is far better than the Gundam Try Zeta. Also, it's sad that Kei's Vagan Gear got stomped hard by Shia's G-Portent!

Would make more sense if it was a 1/60 since each individual component should be just a little smaller than a 1/144.

Her Gunpla isn't as sexy as Hinowa, but now that you mention it does sorta remain me of Saki's elegant style fighting.

The Tryon 3 is based off the ZZ Gundam, which already exists in 1/144 form, and the HGUC ZZ Gundam is capable of being separated into its three individual components.

Not going to lie, Tryon 3 is pretty damn awesome. Great episode overall. Nice to see Shia fight as well.

Lovr how the super robot and the gattai sequence made even the Meijins speechless. Sekai is the only one who appreciated it. The Tryon 3 really stole the show.

The second half was good too and Shia's fight was nice too. They are building her up as a better builder tham both Minato and Yuuma. Although damn Wilfred is arrogant.

They just had to tease China and Sei though. Also I really dislike the fact that they ruined the OP with those sound effects.

Did anyone notice the shiguro blade of age-1 spallow being used by the spiegel gundam? And it is also better of they used the age-1 spallow instead of the custom colored seraphim gundam for the ninja team when they already had no problem showing sid/vagan gear. Although gundam age didn't do good, there are still awesome MS designs there that can make a cameo like G-bouncer, legilis, Age-3 Orbital, and of course the age-2

Hyping up Shia's building skills that much does make the eventual showdown with Hoshino more interesting. May come down to personalities in their building styles. With Shia using a very elegant and smooth gunpla while Hoshino going full out with unusual tricks and enthusiasm.

It was a nice little tease for China and Sei. They are going as far out as they can not to show that guy in this series .
