Alas, there will be no Bokurano images this week, due to a disk failure.

I had to do a clean install of windows, which means a registry wipe and no restore points.

Luckily, I had had the forsight to export my World of Warcraft registry settings onto a flash drive (and backed up all the patches), so I wont have the nightmare of having to patch three years of that game.

run-->regedit-->HK_Local_machine-->Software-->Blizzard-->right click-->export
...a trick everyone on windows should learn

I had exported Nero this way, as well, but import the registry settings back in didn't work for Nero. Worked flawlessly for WoW, though...didn't even have to run the patches I had saved. I'm way off topic now o.O.

Well from the sound of psgel's Bokurano blog entry, it appears that ep 14 has officially made the series jump the shark. I am heavily disappointed and hoping that the series does not progress in the way the blog entry makes it out to be.

I have not yet seen ep 14 but will do so tonight.

so to say that all the "aliens" our gang has been fighting with is in fact "other planets" with a similar position...boy was i shocked to see people inside that bud like pod O.O so the fact that each time they destroy or have destroyed an enemy they were actually defeating another planet...this is such a whacked up game O.O

and yes the end...absolutely beautiful ^.^

Noo nooo, because I can only understand a tiny bit of Japanese and if it's not subbed anymore I might as well stop watching cause it's never fun to watch something you don't understand 90% of the time. I was also wondering why ep 12 and 13 still weren't subbed... *sigh*

I didn't watch ep 14 completely just skipped through it to see some highlights, i'll have detailed impressions later.

Spoiler:

I didn't get the impression that the remaining kids will be saved in the end. I have a feeling that the adults will attempt to do it but it will simply result in failure. So I haven't given up hope on the anime just yet. Overall this ep is just filler/a red herring.

Looks like Kirie is fighting next ep. We'll find out if he dies or not fairly soon (hoping he does!)

The plot twist at the end, Tanaka being Ushiro's mom, is mega-stupid and Morita should be ashamed of himself for adding that instead of consulting with Kitoh on what the real twist involving Kana's mystery person is. It's on the same level of stupidity as Kurono being the alien in the last mission in the Gantz anime.

Triad goes at there own pace; especially when there is no-one else subbing a series. You can sure the subs will be pretty good quality when at last they do come out though. Also, they are still not as slow as Frothbite, tee hee.

We can expect they will have Machi or someone (her being the most likely) as the non-contracted kid, everyone will die.. then Jun's turn is last.. somehow they manage to stop the game and save him.
Jun, Kana (who he magically started warming up to and loving) and his/their new mommy, Tanaka, will then live a long and happy life. With Machi as their best friend... hell, throw in Seki as step daddy. The end.

Seriously though, as long as they keep up this quality and do it right, I don't mind. However, this is one weird and lame plot twist that I can only hope they'll pull off right. (though it would not surprise me if my joke speculation above came true..)

Anywho, saw ep10. Gotta say it was nicely done, pretty good animation too (CGI aside.. before I actually didn't get what people didn't like about it, as I liked it overall, but in this episode it doesn't look good).
The additions and changes in this episode were pretty nice, I especially found the scene in the bar rather cute. Only a shame that the bully thing didn't get resolved, as that was both comical as powerful.
Still a good, solid episode, but only a warm up for the episode to come (and from what I read.. the two after that :x )

Personaly I disliked the bar scene in Nakama's episode, and would have preferred a story similar to what occurred in the manga.

Anyone else want to talk about ep 14? I finally saw it in full and I really don't have much else to say about the ep other than what I put in spoiler tags earlier.

It seems to me that ep 14 was just filler because Kirie was not listed first in the credits. So the ep was not about him. The preview indicated that ep 15 would definately be about him though. I am thinking: the military and Kanji's mother's organization will try to save Kirie but ultimately fail. Kirie may very well end up like Kako when he tried to pilot in the manga

That plot twist that Dragosmore posted really bothers me though. I hope it turns out to be a red herring/lie.
