Hato's friends eyes dammmn they where weird. Hato's love story arc was touching plus the possibility of Kon dating Hato would be something I would like to see. But it seems like Hato may end up liking Madarame. Sue's Ulitimate attack was funny. Still find a few of the chacaters designs at times too similar. Could anyone explain why Hato likes talking about Mada's love life?

Kaminaga spin-off would be nice as well. I'm curious how could someone so down-to-earth like Hato's bro could ever end up marrying the ultimate queen of fujoshi not to mention she's a total hottie, and seriously, Kaminaga is completely open about her interest in BL to the point that I wonder what kind of rotten culture she was grown up with. Her yaoi goggle thickness is pretty much over 9000. As for the backstory, well I did expect Ogiue character arc level drama, but can't say I dislike what I'm seeing. Although, it doesn't add much more than what I already figured out at the end of last episode regarding Hato's crossdressing was inpired by Kaminaga-senpai. What the backstory does add to the overall story is another potential love interest for Hato by the name of Konna which I'm cool with that despite how unusal her eyes were drawn. In this series, we have seen so many hot otaku chicks managed to get together with plain looking otaku boyfriends, so who says female who aren't so pretty like Kon can't hook up a pretty boygirl like Hato? Plus, the backstory also made it clear that Hato's interest in BL goes way back during his middle school days, but only known in public after he told Kon about it. Kon probabily felt gulity for causing people to start spreading rumors about Hato being gay so she distanced herself from Hato out of guilt. I guess this is how things end up during their High School years. Lastly, I'm starting to wonder if the author also likes shipping his friends and relatives. Is that really something fujoshi enjoys doing IRL? In fact, I'm not even sure about the author's gender. Is s/he a fujoshi or just some guy with lots of fujoshi friends? |

Lots of tension all climaxing in one festival back to back.
Even though they seems like minor characters, I quite like Hato's old high school classmates. Especially big eyes. The conclusion of everything and the past was handled rather calmly. Guess Oguie still has the top seat, don't think anyone got as close to jumping out a window as her yet. Sue x Madara scene was good |

It's a guy, and this series is published on Afternoon, which is a Seinen magazine. So even though they talk about fujoshis, they're not the target audience, but i thought that was a given. I'd say it's a study of certain segments and their habits/hobbies.

Yes, that scene followed by Saki entrance caught me off guard for a moment. I see, guess that's how it is. With how much this season seems to emphasize on shipping Madarame with every single male casts as running gag gave me the impression the author must have gone through various Genshiken BL doujin materials i.e. he might be into those stuffs. Not saying that he's gay of course. |

In all this excitement a thought looms over my head: how long will this air again? I'm very excited about a certain chapter in the future getting animated but is worried we might not quite get there.

As much as I wanted this anime to fare better, if we think about it, what bastek says make some kind of sense as well. I mean, who is the target audience, really? Not enough bishounen bait for the actual fujoshi, and the fujoshi antics probably put off a lot of the normal otaku. I had hoped the trap antics would help, since I was under the impression that it's a running fad over there but apparently it's not enough...

In fact, that's the whole point of bringing up his promised success, or his past stories. The intention of the author is ridiculously clear if you read the manga. He's like a living breathing representation of "annoyance" created by Kio. Quote:
He's a wannabe clown.
