No, I don't think so. Although there are a bit of fanart popping up due to the ice skating olympics... they never really have a common trait asides from being related to the ice skating competition.

If you check the boorus and pixiv... there are a lot sayaka pictures recently... seems like some of the fans are dubbing 3/8 as "Sayaka Day" I don't really know why... but anyway:

Yeah, I noticed that as well. And being a big Sayaka fan, it bothered me a bit that I didn't feel "in" on this celebration.

Thankfully, my friend Kogetsu Shirogane came up with an idea.

Certain numbers are associated with certain Japanese characters.

3 can equal "Sa", and 8 can equal "Ya". So 3/8 becomes Sayaka's Day. That's my leading theory for this big spike in Sayaka fanart pics (particularly ones featuring "3/8" prominently). I'm curious if another KitaEri character named Saya has received the same treatment, but I haven't check yet.

As for the pic you shared, very lovely. I like how the photos collectively cover the entire main cast, featuring various one-on-one interactions between Sayaka and other main cast members.
