Cute! I would like to see a Bara one now. Is the Hina with books and crayons a Yujin figure?

Looks like my Kana figgie will have to wait until I get some money. I bought it though, which is good.

Oh yes you can... this is a sexy figure.

I've said it once, twice; and I'll say it again. SR Yujin sucks imho. I mean, compare the SR Yujin Suiseiseki to that one above, or even to the GSC Shinku.

Nope, thank God it isnt. In my limited knowledge of such stuff:

Thats an original resin production. Firstly, its Resin, not PVC. Resin is much more brittle than PVC but it feels absolutely to the touch. Also it doesnt come painted, or assembled for that matter. You order the kit (say from this site) and it comes in pieces; whereupon you'll have to sand each piece, assemble it prepaint, take it apart, prime each piece, paint each, dip in thinner and repaint if not satisfactory, coat it, and finally stick all the pieces together with little bits of wires etc etc. (or pay someone or that site to do it for you).

That Suiseiseki is also a Resin kit. It was displayed at the same WHF as the Hina one.

I agree that Resin kits are much better than anything else. Since is sculpted piece by piece, paint than assemble it. So basically is just like a Gundam Model Kit. There is actually a site that sells pre-paint versions of the Rozen Maiden resin kits. However, they are expensive!!!.

Hmm..i recall someone mention this site before : /. but oh well here it is..keep in mind they also sell 18+ resin figures -__-. So just avoid clicking into one of those and you will be fine.

This link leads to the Rozen Maiden prepainted resin kits:

The Suiseiseki resin kit by itself costs about 44.50 US dollars. One of the Suigintou ones cost 70++. I'd say add another 100 USD for the painting? But I wouldn't recommend it, I hear they dont do such a good job. The best thing to do is to order the kit from them, then get a local hobbyist painter to do it for you. That way, you'll have more control over QC.

Yep, they'll come painted. Put together I'm not too sure; but that shoudn't be too much of a pain. Lol, I have no painting skills to speak of, thats why I pay someone to do it for me. Now, if only the kit will arrive.

Mind you I do find it kinda fun to put figurines together. It's a bit like the toys you get in Kinder Suprise, and is often twice as tricky.
