Also it seems like some of you guys are expecting a season 3 right? I'm at this point not very sure if there will be one but I'm definitely hoping there is one. It's pretty amazing how a lot of people do admit that there's barely any plot for second season but at the same time, seems like almost everyone (including people outside of AnimeSuki) really is just enjoying the show. It' just a really really fun show!

One thing that I did not notice before but... does Noir like Shinku a bit or something? I was actually a bit surprised when she ran to Shinku and hold his arm. Did not expect that at all. I guess I was missing something from previous episodes.

What does dojiko mean?

I hope there will be a season 3. I'm assuming people are writing scripts for it and in the planning process of it right now. I'm sure people are working to make a season 3 happen. I bet the disc sales for season 2 will be about as good as the sales for season 1, too. They might even be better.

While that may be truth, I think you're setting yourself up for a disappointment if you think Tsuzuki would change his formula for this series.

I guess she is a Dojikko, but at the same time, the team behind Dog Days makes it seem like she is the most capable hero of all the heroes in Dog Days 2. For example, they had her fight against Sink, Yukikaze, and Eclair all at once. She also led Pastillage to victory in day 1 of Union Fest.

What I'm hoping for is that Season 3 will be more like Season 1, which was still plenty lighthearted. But what I'm thinking is that there will be a threat to the lands that this series takes place in and the kingdoms will need three heroes (Sink, Nanami, and Becky), and possibly even Adel, in order to defeat the threatening entity or entities. I'm speculating, but I think they had planned out a groundwork for season 2 and season 3, and they wanted to work up to season 3 being kind of epic - I mean, for Dog Days standards - and have season 2 lead up to season 3 all the while having it be all about lighthearted fun and adventures and full of humor, fanservice, and moe fanservice.

Now understand, I still expect season 3 to be pretty lighthearted (and be more lighthearted than serious, like season 1) and for it to have plenty of humor, fanservice, moe fanservice, and for it to have moments where characters have fun and heartwarming moments with each other, and so forth. I just think it'll have an overall plot from start to finish and have some serious elements like those found in season 1 (with things such as Leon trying to avoid Milhi from dying and the tormented fox spirit that was close to rampaging Biscotti).

It would make sense that season 2 is a build up to a season 3 like that. If season 3 was just like season 2, that would be a bad decision on the part of the series creators. I'd probably still love season 3 if it was just season 2 all over again, but it might not bode well with many fans of the series and hurt the chances of any Dog Days seasons beyond a third season.

Does it at least make sense to you why I'd assume things to play out like that/have these expectations?

Season 2 has been surprisingly amazing, so yeah, I really hope they're gonna stretch this out for a bit longer as well.

Awesome episode, finally Noir got some proper screentime and Milhi even gave another performance, I couldn't ask for anything else.

They could make many more seasons and I'd probably love each one so long as they always have lovable characters (with the great majority of them being kemonomimis) and always keep the series more about lightheartedness than seriousness and drama (although having some of that is just fine; just so long as they don't have too much of it). Other than that, they'd just have to keep making it all fun, and then all that combined would make it all really enjoyable to me.

and finally got chance to see the growth up version of Becky, not bad too but a bit different from what I expected, since mention is demon version...

and Millhi was so kawaii

next week will be last, so fast, I do hope there will have more season to come, need more for the fun moment and lovely characters

You know, if we're going for a Season 3, I kinda want them to do something they did for their other well-known franchise:

TIMESKIP.

They've laid down the foundations for grown-up Cinque, Becky and Gaul in S2, so why not go all the way and have the rest of the cast be grown up too?
