A while back, Toei announced that they would be making a CG movie for the Saint Seiya franchise. Since then, very little information has been revealed except that the movie is suppose to come out on 2014 and that it would be in 3D.

Recently, Toei has launched a countdown website that many speculate that will be for the official unveiling for the 2014 Saint Seiya movie.

Lets hope isn't an original story but a remake of Elyseum like the rumor says.

Who is that? I guess Seiya but with a completely different Cloth. Every Pegasus Cloth is blue-white

The funny thing is that picture was released a bit after Omega started airing. So, because of the red lines, some people though that the movie was going to be the bridge between the original and Omega.

Of course, that was proven on true as the show went on

The movie is a reboot. Morishita confirmed it last year.

The text on the image says "The legend of Seiya begins here".

It would make it an adaptation, since the current storyline is still going in Next Dimension.

It doesn't matter if the story is still on-going in the manga. They're starting from the beginning with this movie, hence it's a reboot.

Interesting. The visual are not disappointing me at all. The red/blue/white Cloth from CGI Seiya is pretty good. It reminds me to Season 2 Koga.

I'm digging the Pegasus cloth. That's the kind of cloth I would have liked to see in Omega. It's modernized while still looking close to the original. Sagittarius looks good as well. Definitely better than Seiya's new cloth in Omega.

I particularly like the leg protection on those.

I find it odd they're advertising Aoilos first. Maybe his role will be changed?
