Well since it seems there is a need for it I guess I can give a detailed summary of Kizu.

At the beginning of the novel we meet Araragi Koyomi, an underachieving high school student who is struggling just to past the grade. He has no friends since he consider them to be more trouble then they are worth. He decides to roam around the school to past the time. Just as he is ready to go back home the single most important event in the Monogatari series happened, he saw Hanekawa Tsubasa's panties. Being the top student that she is Araragi decides to not approach her but as luck would have it the whole panty thing kinda forced him and her to talk. As they are talking Hanekawa tells him about a rumor that a vampire with blonde hair was located around the area. Hanekawa asks Araragi for his phone and he gives it to her thinking she is checking for photos of her panties. When she gives it back to him it turns out that she added herself to his contact list, after that she runs away and leaves Araragi standing in the street.

That night, Araragi secretly sneaks out of the house in order to buy some porn magazines. (Yes, it's magazines, he got two of them) It seems that Hanekawa's panties has been stuck in his mind during the whole entire day and he needed to rid himself of it by overwriting it with porn. He even starts feeling guilty about it as he thinks any normal person would have just brush off the whole ordeal. As he is going back home he checks his cellphone and it seems that midnight has past and spring break has officially started for Araragi. He starts thinking to himself and realizes the night was particularly dark, he looks up and sees that a lot of the street lights were broken and that only one was working. He decided that thinking about such meaningless junk was useless and decided to be on his merry way back home and fulfill his destiny which is opening the wrappers on his newly bought porn mags. Then suddenly his train of thought was interrupted by a voice. He wanted to ignore the voice but it keeps on coming, it was then that he looked at source of where that sound came from. Under the lone street light there sat a blonde woman who was pretty much glued to the wall. This woman has wearing a beautiful western dress yet it seems to be in shreads but what stood out the most was the fact that her four limbs were missing. It was clear that they were chopped off since the cuts were clean. He wants to call the ambulance for her but his hand won't stop shaking, he could barely remember what the number was for the police. The woman tells him that there is no need, all he needed to do is give her his blood. It was then he realized that the woman had no shadow and he recalled the conversation he had with Hanekawa. The woman introduces herself as Kissshot·Acerolaorion·Heartunder·Blade the Iron-blooded, Hot-blooded, Cold-blooded vampire. He questions her about her immortality and she tells him that she has lost too much blood and she can't use any of her powers. She tells him that he should be honored about being offered the chance to be a part of her. He asks her if a blood-transfusion is enough but after he said that even he felt that it sounded stupid. He then asks her how much blood she needs, and she tells him one man's worth for now as it's a emergency. He starts thinking about how she only sees him as food and how serious her eyes were. She then rushes him asking what is he waiting for. He backs away realizing that she is powerless and that she has no way of catching him. As he takes another step back the vampire's attitude quickly takes a 180 and begins asking for his help. He begins thinking about how beautiful she is and how her blonde hair complemented her. As he looked at her, she begins to cry and starts begging for her life. Her cries were like that of a child and she said she would do anything for him. She starts saying stuff like "I don't wanna die, I don't wanna disappear, who, who, please!" Her tears begin to turn into blood and he sees it as a sign that she is dying. She starts saying sorry and he thinks to himself about why and who she is saying sorry to. After that he begins to run away from her and as he is doing so he hears her cry for help from the back of his ears. He stops at a garbage stop and he tosses away his porn mags. He runs back to the street lamp and then he also begins to cry. He starts to think about his parents and his sisters and the fact that they are the only people on his mind. The fact that even though their relationship isn't great, it was still enough to make him cry. When he gets back he sees that the vampire is no longer crying, rather she was sleeping. He wakes her up saying she shouldn't give up and then sticks his neck out to her. She asks if it was okay and he tells her of course not but since his life is worthless, saving a higher being like her would be the logical thing to do. He tells her to suck every last drop of blood. She says thank you to him and then sinks her teeth into him. After that he instantly loses conscienceness, as a last thought he suddenly remembers Hanekawa and the stuff about her. He tells himself that dying with the thought of Hanekawa's panties in his head isn't so bad. Araragi Koyomi, age 17, just like that his life ended, at least that's what he thought.

He didn't need to relieve himself. He wanted to overwrite the memory of Hanekawa's panties since they became friends and he didn't want to have perverted thoughts about her. That's why he bought a couple of class representative panty shot magazines. He figured that it's easier to overwrite a memory with one that is similar.

A complete off tangent thought, I keep thinking why hasn't anyone die yet. People drop like candies in other Isin's work. So I kept thinking one of the girls would die, but so far none of them has kicked the bucket yet (Mayoi doesn't really count).

In a strange sort of twisted way, i'm kinda disappointed.

I couldn't believe it's written by the same author when I first read Bake.. Hitagi would have died a thousand times already if it goes like his other works. That's why a lot of his fans would say in some ways Kizumonogatari feels more like the "normal" Nishio Isin.

But I'm glad he wrote it this way, it's nice when I don't need to prepare for something dreadful happens every few pages.

Not just Zaregoto (though it is my favorite among all his work), the Zerozaki spin off and Katanagatari too. Somehow, I would imagine Nadeko would be first to get destroyed if it's like his other work.

Oshino kept talking about how he wouldn't be there for Araragi soon, and he should stop getting meddle in those affairs. I was really looking forward for something more like the Kanbaru scene.

Let's also not forget that this is a harem series... very rarely do people ever die in harems (there are exceptions, admittedly...)

and with the hints I have about Katanagatari... I'm expecting it to be a dark series when it gets animated

The series has a different taste then your regular harem series. This guy actually actually wants a harem end, and seriously aiming for it. Also unlike harem shows, this actually has a plot divided by arcs.

I really hope you're kidding about Koyomi wanting and seeking a harem ending because he's pretty set on a monogamous relationship by the end of the Bakemonogatari, let alone Nisemonogatari. He is a pervert though.

Katanagatari's not that dark (lots of humor still too), just more serious than Bakemonogatari.

Confuse with Seitokai no Ichizon? Harem shows have arc too (see Negima).
