Wtf there is like no novel or light novel or vn adaptions. Season looks terrible so far for me.
All the manga stuff look really bad too except for like 3gatsu which I'm going purely off hype so I hope it doesn't disappoint. List so far Euphonium s2 Gundam Ibo s2 3gatsu Regalia(I was already watching this but it got delayed) Mahou shoujo ikusei keikaku Girlish number (watari wataru is a beast) Wixoss I'll give all the original shows a try outside of the fujo pandering ones that don't have any waifus but not expecting much. Maybe pick up a trashy manga along the way too I guess. 7 is a pitiful number for me. At least there is mahou tsukai no yome ova and majestic prince and kancolle movie |

Well, actually quite a lot of those shows are novels, just not harem or isekai novels
Euphonium 2 - Must watch 3 gatsu no Lion - Very well reputed manga Gundam IBO 2 - To be continued... Occultic;Nine - Nitro+ Fune wo Amu - Story about making dictionaries will takes some creativity to visualize Gi(a)rlish Number - Oregairu author writing Sore ga Seiyuu, with a cute and snarky heroine Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku - This smells like QB Vivid Strike - Is it a new start for the Nanoha Franchise? Regalia - The halt and delay made me curious Jojo - It seems to extending to Fall? Actually more than expected as I was thinking of freeing up more time. But there are some just can't be ignored. Perhaps will hold or drop some later. Overall not a lot of shows to be anticipated, and it seems there are more kid's shows(which might be a good thing in the long run), but there are plenty of solid offers. |

And I don't care if they're harem or isekai or whatever. I'm not even looking for those to begin with. Last edited by IceHism; 2016-08-13 at 04:21. |

Idol Memories looks okay. Dog Days is one of my favorite anime, so Seven Arcs is a pretty high pedigree for me. I also appreciate the show's timeline of Virtual Reality concerts becoming popular by around 2035 (It will be sooner, but that's not an offensively bad guess or anything - definitely not the typical sci-fi "this story takes place 500 years in the future but there's no self-driving cars or any other of today's emerging technologies" style of setting).
Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku is a given. Someone with Madoka as one of their all-time favorite anime can't not watch it. Girlish Number, maybe. I've always been a little interested. Flip Flappers looks great. Very fun previews, definitely has more interest from me than almost any other show this season. Hibike Euphonium was one of my favorite from 2015. Ditto for WIXOSS and 2014. Not a show that I would have expected to ever see a continuation. A slightly early Christmas miracle it is. And Watashi ga Motete Dousunda looks pretty fun, so I'll check that out too.

Must watch
Hibike Euphonium 2 - Continue from the fantastic first season Brave Witches - More Strike witches universe expansion! Interesting Occultic;Nine - Stroy from the creator of Steins;Gate ViVid Strike! - Not really sure about this but more Nanoha universe is good Shuumatsu no Izetta - WW2 + Magical girl Soushin Shoujo Matoi - Magical girl (miko) + White fox studio Mahou shoujo ikusei keikaku - I heard something great and dark about this magical girl anime. Gi(a)rlish Number - Have eyes on this for a while Keijo!!! - Sport + Swimsuit + Fanservice + Comedy. How can it be more perfect than this?

Quite a colorful selection for me.
So far, only Hibike! Euphonium S2, Stella no Mahou and Girlish Number are in my selection, but I might pick up the highly-anticipated Sangatsu no Lion, but only if the PVs show that SHAFT is willing to give this the same scheduling treatment as Koufuku Graffiti and not let this go the path of delayed episodes.

I'm very surprised to see that there are posts that don't have Sangatsu no Lion in their lists. It seems we have to update the captcha system, some bots managed to get through.
Anyway my list: Sangatsu no Lion Hibike Euphonium 2 .... this work thing is doing a number on my anime time.

I want to be excited for Drifters, I really do...but I don't think there's a good cutoff point yet, so I don't know how the season will end. Really sad to think of the possibility of them just stopping before the juicy parts and then padding it with speedlines, talking heads, and stills.

The series I'll watch for sure (so far):
- Digimon Universe: App(li) Monsters I know there's some concern by Digimon fans about its premise, but I'm interested to see what will happen in this venture. The known info about this has got me curious - Haikyuu!!: Karasuno Koukou vs Shiratorizawa Gakuen Koukou (3rd season) It's back for one more season. Ganbare, Karasuno team!!! - Kaitou Joker (4th season) One more season for Joker and company - bring it on - Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans (2nd season) Gundam at its best with its large cast of characters and good doses of drama. Can't wait for the new season - Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On The first animated series of the "Monster Hunter" game franchise and it's quite different from its source on some matters. Let's see what this one has in store I'll keep an eye on these, although nothing is really guaranteed: - Bungou Stray Dogs (2nd season) - Drifters - Nanbaka - Nobunaga no Shinobi - Udon no Kuni no Kiniro Kemari - Yuri!!! on Ice

Sangatsu no Lion sounded immediately interesting on the basis of premise alone (it reminds me a lot of the late arcs of Hikaru no Go), and I am happy to see many people seem to appreciate it already. Sounds like this is a very promising one.
Other than that, Drifters, Fune wo Amu, oh, and ClassicaLoid, that sounds just crazy so I have to check it out. Possibly the Magical Girl Keikaku thing too.
