I was hoping this show might be more like Yumeiro Patissiere, but apparently it's a little more directly romantic. Which isn't a bad thing in itself. The episodes are so short that I'm not sure how they can develop things, but that also makes the show easy to pick up. I'll be back next week, at least.

I have already found my Yumeiro Patissiere substitute anyway, in Tribe Cool Crew, an early Sunday morning kids' show that was surprisingly enjoyable.

Was cute, another reverse harem, but a short one I guess. I like it so far.

I think the series is going to be hurt by its short episode length. A short length episode can work. But the writers need to be aware that each episode's story-telling arc works differently for a short when compared to a standard episode length. I didn't see any evidence of that understanding based on episode 1. Episode 1's story-telling was timed like it was a standard length episode rather than a short length. Rather than build to an episode ending, the episode simply ended mid-episode. It felt like I had lost my internet connect and then was reconnected just in time for the credits. I'm still going to watch because I liked what I saw but the timing was all wrong for a short length episode.

I get the feeling that they're creating this show with the vision of watching it back-to-back rather than the release schedule. It felt like the standard first minutes of Standard Otome Adaption Episode 1, if slightly faster (we'd usually cover this much in the first eight or so minutes of Standard Otome Adaption).

With how many Otome Adaptions have been made with no acceptable mainstream route lately (Diabolik Lovers were all abusers, Arcana Famiglia were all close incest [bio or adoptive] or waaay too old just to give two examples) I'm half-expecting the only non-teacher route (currently introduced) to end up being Main Character's long lost half-brother or something (they have the same color schemes if in different hues).

I got Diabolik Lovers vibes from this too. Obviously the story's different but the art is a little similar.

This was cute though. I'll probably watch at five minutes and hopefully Ran sticks around for awhile to help Sayuri out since the female MC's friend usually isn't in these things wrong...or the female MC doesn't have a girlfriend.

The color and character design are similar but it looks like these weren't done by Satoi who did the original character designs for DL.

I almost feel like the short length undercuts what this series could be, but still it's an okay time to spend 5 mins. Second episode introduced all 4 boys' cooking skills at rush speed, though it did look a little cheap having them do nothing but "magical girl" pirouettes.

Ep 02

I will be honest. I laughed. The pattisieres were hilariously and endearingly dramaticly overkill in the snippet of their creativity "action scenes"!

I want the MC to wow everyone and stun them into silence, though.

I think I got spoiled by Yui from Kamigami no Asobi in terms of awesome otome heroines....because Sayuri's a drag so far...

This was probably the first episode where I really wish it was longer. It was nice that they ended up working together well.

Well then! That was a nice episode. I kinda like Suzuki sensei - nice, normal fella underneath that calm, cool, collected, disciplined and stern exterior. ^^

Not sure if anyone else is still watching this show, but after watching this last episode I started to wonder if this was two cour as I couldn't see them ending everything in the next five minutes or so, and according to ANN it is. I don't remember if that was mentioned before.

I am also watching it, and yes - two cour.

Thing is with this series while it is pleasant enough I don't usually have a lot to say after watching the eps.
