I would have to say episode 2 is my favorite. It was nice to have a beginning and Haruhi's first orders to kyon

. 2nd would have to be episode 12 just because of the rock scene and the other parts of the school festival

Episode 12 wins for me. It's anachronically Episode 12, and chronologically Episode 12! But that's beside the real reason, which is because Aaya did the most brilliant work in this one. Singing God knows... and Lost my music made me love her even more than ever. The performance was simply amazing.

Episode 10 and 1 aren't too far behind. ^^

I like 12 the best, its just pretty funny and has a concert in it. Plus while episode 1 is a seperate episode, it ties into the movie, which after watching it a second and third time, as opposed to being the first episode with me going wtf is this, i find it really funny.

But episode 10 is pretty cool, and episode 14 is a really good ending.

Sadly my least favorite was episode 9, i can understand why its there, but the 3 minutes of stuff that only jap ppl can really probably get (if they even do) and a sorta anti-climatic finish (chronalogical) sorta left a bad taste in my mouth. Dont get my wrong, it was still enjoyable and i'm glad its there, just was my least favorite.

Mine is Episode 12: Live A Live, which is fortunately Episode 12 in any order.

Great insert songs, simple, yet well-done plot, and Haruhi being cute.

Glad to see episode 12 got so much appreciation. I voted for 9, but those two are probably tied in terms of how often I rewatch them when I'm in a Haruhi mood.

Episode 1 was also really memorable and had great humour so if I could I would have voted for that too.

Episode 7 is a close call though because it has Yuki with the WHOOSH hair near the end of the episode.
