Definitely a Fallout-related thing, considering the Vault-Tec logo. Possibly Fallout 4.

If they use Skyrim's engine, I hope they fix it so it can use more than 3.1 gigs of memory. They'll need that fix especially if they intend on this being Next-Gen.

I find it insane that Skyrim had the same "monster goo" bug as Fallout3. Hope they don't keep importing old bugs into new games, it is getting ridiculous.

On the down side, if they go for next gen I might not be able to run the game on my laptop anymore... Sad.

Skyrim's engine update was mostly just a change in rendering engine (ditching the Gamebryo+SpeedTree combo for their own improved version of Gamebryo that could actually render trees on its own among other small improvements) and the addition of Papyrus to the scripting engine (which actually just added more headaches for modders); aside from those things it's not much different from previous.

I had a gut feeling that Bethesda would announce a new fallout game sometime this year, most likely towards the end of the year. And it's looking pretty obvious that this teaser will become a Fallout announcement. I enjoyed Fallout 3 alot (even though the game gets too easy once you get the Adamantium Skeleton perk) so I'll be looking forward to this one as well.

My guy feeling also says that Valve will announce a new game early next year (By April at the latest), and I'm speculating that it'll be a third Left 4 Dead game.

There's no way this site can't be Fallout related. I mean, you have clearly recognizable font and graphics taken from the last two games.

To me the game became too easy when I maxed stealth and the small arms. And took the perks to be the ultimate sneaky sniper.

No one denies it's Fallout related. The question that some people are still wondering, is it a hoax? Since Bethesda isn't saying anything but haven't denied or taken down the site, it's more than likely legit. The Fallout sub-reddit has discussed the for and against it being a hoax extensively and I think that it's legit. Even if it did turn out to be a hoax, I'd still hand to the hoaxer due to the amount of dedication and time he/she/they put in. Producing all those Morse codes and ciphers takes time.

Anyhow in about 8 hours, one of the countdowns on the site will be done.

... is anyone else getting a 403 error when going to the site?

EDIT: Okay, looks like it's finally back up. Got me worried there for a moment.

It just outed itself as an elaborate hoax. No new Fallout is coming after all.

IMHO the Guillotine would be too swift for him. Anyways, now that I have cooled down a bit (sorry for overreacting like that, but I was actually hyped up alot over some more Fallout) I really hope we'll see a new Fallout announced by Bethesda sometime in the future. In fact, I think by now we'd have seen an actual teaser but they seem to be pretty busy trying to finish up on Elder Scrolls Online.
