Uhh.. it's a variation of my old film strip sigs. I'll try to explain without confusing anyone but I'll end up doing that anyway. D:

First, find a relatively long animation, doesn't have to loop.

For the purpose of this example, I'll be splitting the animation into 3 portions, each consisting of 10 frames.

Portion 1: Frames 1 ~ 10
Portion 2: Frames 11 ~ 20
Portion 3: Frames 21 ~ 2 (since the animation only has 28 frames, the first 2 frames are repeated)

Now here's the tricky part. In 10 frames, portion 1 must move to the old position of portion 2, and portion 2 must move to the old position of portion 3.
This is where I use the tweening for the positions.

The result will be something like this.

Crop off the sides to achieve the effect of a continuous scroll.

If you don't mind, will you make a me FullMetal Alchemist one? I don't have a specific picture, but as long as it has Edward and Alphonse on it that would be great! It'd be nice if you animated it too but no worries, and no rush! You don't have to but I'd like it if you would, either way have a nice day and thanks!

ok found 2 another animator gods in here,

Moonie-sama and capture-sama, so the thread of Rika-sama is like a hangout place of some great animators here in AS.

btw about the tutorial...

THANKS!!!, so that's the magic behind the looping scene

kinda complicated specially the part where moving portion1 to portion2 but I think it's worth trying it

Now, I think I'll find some images to animate myself...
