can't stop thinking of the Chief Takagi from iM@S. Same VAs, both wear suits, and most of all, both are faceless. xD

I can't put my finger on it, but there is something off about Kana Asumi. I hesitate to say that I feel she has been miscast, but she's certainly not what I expected.

I love the color palate though. It's not overly saturated, glossy, or plastic at all. So refreshing!

The art in the anime is horrible even for Shaft. Really. I start to believe that they spend all the previous profits on drugs.

By now, it's pretty clear which companies and which streaming outlets are likely to intersect. Since the last two TBS shows ended up with Sentai/TAN, this one is, too.

I suspect Haganai NEXT isn't because it's already with Funi, and they simply haven't announced it yet.

Anime Network also appears to have adjusted their release times after the Darkness leak.

I didn't expect this show to be this good

-Yuuno neet having a siscon onii chan
-KanaHana being in it
-Madoka reference, including the sound of the grief seeds opening
-koichocco reference
-nice fanservice
-that epic fight at the end
Turned out much better than I expected, preordering BDs asap

e: are we stilll spoilering for ep1? since it's already available with eng sub I didn't think it'd be necessary

Well hi there shaft

I did enjoy this,especially the 2nd half,there's a shamelessness about the whole thing that I like.The exact thing that turned off serenade_beta is what I enjoyed the most: not knowing why this happened,I'm sure it'll be explained later but to me that'll kill part of the magic.
I also hope shaft can keep up this sort of animation the whole show,though that's probably hoping for too much.

What the heck? From the way it looks, it will probably explain things in the future episodes, but as of now, present-time, it wasn't pleasant. Plenty lost. It's Shaft. It's Shinbou. I hope they avoid the "let's replace animation with words!" thing with this anime. Especially since if there is one reason I decided to watch this, it is because I liked the character designs (rather, only reason?). So please animate the vomiting? Even if it is just her head, anything but "She vomited" written across the screen? But you know, wow, I didn't realize this novel was written by Akira! It's been so long. Since when? When I saw Kyouran's anime? When I read Mushi to Medama? The three sisters' names smells like his work, after all... I have liked his writing style. So... -First half was okay --Houchuu is always awesome (love his voice) --But I don't love the fact every female in the anime are mentally perverted (no, not the sexual meaning, the other) -Love the character designs -Second half........... already said --Plenty of movement (too busy with the question mark on the top of my head to care though) --The way the ED worked was entertaining and new, though the animation just reused the episode's fast-forwarded part. But for now, I'll bear with it. Surely (right?) they will explain everything in coming episodes and that will make each episode more enjoyable. Characters' personalities... Well, I'm not hoping on the three sisters at all. I like siscon and brocon characters, so it's okay there I guess. All in all...
