well one trick is to play around with dither. i adjust it all the time in adobe image ready.. And for Ulead its buried under file>optimization wizard then select no next> set dither to 0. now i havent played much with ulead so i don't know if the outcome will be good or not but the options are still there.

If you find a way to adjust all images at the same time
like bordersettings and picture size
I would be grateful

At the moment I have to click on a frame then double click on the image then adjust it to the right size with borders.
And with sometimes 20 frames it becomse everytime a hard work

Ah cheater
But the images in the object bar are "example" 500x500 but the avatar size can only be 100x100.
So I need to resize all objects and give them borders.

If you do steps 1 & 2. it will totally resize the whole project including the objects.
Just replace the value of Height and Width to 100 . (this way all object size will be uniform and you don't have to resize one by one)

If you have an existing boarder, too bad, it will compress and mess up your boarder so you will have to do steps 3-7 and 6-7,-6-7 If that didn't solve your problem that means i didn't understand what youre trying to do. T_T

:sorry: I could'nt focus because because of her moeness, I just have to put my Osagi charm on her face to protect myself. It should protect other viewers as well

anyways. did that solve your problem? I could'nt believe the patience that you have in making your avatars. Well I hope my guides will make your work a little bit easier and churn out More Viewtiful avatars much faster than before

Hmmmmm back to your guid, now I cancut out exactly what I want but my problem isn't solved

I must edit each and every object to fit the frame.(current project)
I've cut out the part I want but that part is still over 100x100
Now I have to insert 26 new Frames and put the right object into the right frame.
After that I have to edit all object properties to adjust the size to 96x96 with 2 pixels left to each site, that I can insert my border

if it's okay with you can you show me what scene or example of a scene that you are trying to make, maybe i can try to simulate your problem and see what i can do.

but for now, well the first thing is to open the first Raw Image, add the rest.
select an area and crop. the rest of the object should be cropped as well, and then go to
Edit>Resize Image 98x98.

could it be that your Raw Images are not in synch????

and i thought i resolved it with my last reply

as you can see i used the blinking scene same as you. after i cropped the area i didn't have to edit the rest of the objects, i hit resize>100x100 and everything got resized. see my blink avatar

after i resized i added frames, then reduced the objects i use to just 3 and kept duplicating frames and did not need to edit the rest of the objects

why do you have to reduce 96x96, just make an allowance for the boarder then resize to 100x100 and put 2pixel boarder

I tried that what you told me and maybe I like it that way

After copping I duplicated alle frames, then I had to set the "eyesymbol" at every frame so that the right object was in the right frame.
I saved those images as jpgs, opend a new project with 100x100 where I insert those jpgs.
Then I had to set the position of each object to "LEFT: 2" and "TOP: 2" <- and thats the point I have to do this for each and every object, I have to click on a frame, click on the object, go details, change those values and click on ok.... for every frame and object
At last I could insert my border jpg and save that as gif.

there is no need to save tham as jpg. that step is not necessary... after cropping you must resize. click edit>resize image to 100x100. do not do resize on object window.

After cropping do this:

Step 1.) Click resize Image

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 2.) Enter prefferred image size(100x100) then click OK and then add boarder

I'll try to update my guide later, ill go watch some NHnH and sekirei for now

How do you add a border to that? Since the Image itself is still there with it's full size, you only see what you wanted to see.
