The same source that announces that the new anime adaptation of Shakugan no Shana is an OVA series, also mentions the shounen light novel series Dhurarara!! (a Dengeki Bunko light novel series) which was once rumored to be getting an anime adaptation.

Though it does not mention anime-ka (anime coversion, anime adaptation) of the Dhurarara!! light novel series, but I wonder if they are hinting at an anime adaptation or what... since just a few posts before it was announced that an anime adaptation of a Dengeki Bunko work will be announced this month...

Hahaha the source has been removed. Its not working anymore

So what does that mean? trying to cover an unwated early announcement? or deleting a mistake? Is Shakugan no Shana getting an OVA series adaptation? I have no idea >_<

But I still have the site so I'll post an image of it...

Here's the Ascii Media Works site (the publisher of the Shakugan no Shana light novel series) that announces the new OVA series adaptation of the shounen light novel series Shakugan no Shana, and also might be hinting at an anime adaptation of the shounen light novel series Dhurarara!!:

Spoiler:

(the image of the site is in the above spoiler)

Haha... yeah, this seems like a classic screwup, especially given that the folder is "wp_test14". It looks like the webmaster set themselves up with a staging site so they could build an early version of the conference site, and someone found the link. The entire site is down now, presumably while they clean up the server and remove all the things they didn't want to have released. This is what they say about "security through obscurity"... The problem is that they've scooped their own magazines... classic "oops".

I think we'll just have to wait a bit for everything to be re-announced officially.

And now here's the secondary confirmation on ANN through Moonphase, which also lists the main staff as the exact same team who adapted Baccano, also by the same author. (Same Director, Story Planner, Character Designer, Art Director, Music Composer, and Production Company -- so yeah, the exact same crew, basically.)

Yeah according to this image that was added to the MoonPhase Diray post, the anime adaptation turned out to be true and its a TV anime adaptation.

Heh it was so fast, announcing that an anime adaptation of a Dengeki Bunko work will be announced in July, and in less than a day from making that announcement an anime adaptation of a Dengeki Bunko work has been announced.

Not to be overly pedantic, but shouldn't that be "Finale", ideally with the accent over the e (in keeping with the musical theme of the series)?

Speaking of overly-pedantic, and because turnabout is fair play, there should not be an accent on the "e" in "finale", as there isn't one in Italian. But anyway, yes, "finale" it is; it's just a small oversight.

With Lygatto as the core, four close friends are connected by cruel fate in a spectacular war tale!!!

In the continent of Cruzon, an impending war between the Kingdom of Krishna and the nation of Athens is brimming. The people of this land are able to wield the crystals from the ground for whatever purpose they desire. Yet one person, Lygatto Arrow, is not. The announcement will appear on the obi strip that will be with the 6th volume of the BREAK BLADE manga. The 6th volume of the manga will be officially released on July 12th, 2009, but in some stores it will be already lined up around July 8th, 2009. Could this important announcement be a TV anime adaptation? OVA adaptation? Drama CD adaptation? ... we'll have to wait...
As was mentioned on the BREAK BLADE blog that on July 8th a big announcement will appear on it, and the announcement turned out to be an anime adaptation.

2001 Nights consists of several loosely connected short stories, all taking place in the same timeline, with the whole series spanning several hundred years. The stories are often (but not always) scientifically plausible, recalling a lot of the early science fiction of the 1950 and 1960 eras.
