In Aria, the meet on Floor 1, and their relationship developed from there. The main reason Kirito joined the Black Cats while keeping secrets from them was that he was lonely. Hard to imagine with Asuna in the picture from early on.

I dunno, I personally thought Asuna eventually joins the KoB guild, and becomes the leader Kirito thought she had the potential to become, while he goes back to being the solo player 'beater' he made himself out to be in Aria of the Starless Night (possibly going separate ways thinking he shouldn't drag Asuna's potential down with him, while keeping in touch with each other on their friend/contact list). After a while he misses having other people around him, and joins the Black Cats by chance after meeting them in a dungeon. He can't exactly go into the KoB with his rep as a solo player 'beater', not when he doesn't have the Two Sword skill that made the KoB leaders change their mind.

You're right. I somehow confused the 6 parts of Chapter 1 for 6 different chapters

There was a huge Prolouge for Vol. 9...so the Chapters are going to continue on in Vol. 10.

Anyone found Plot Summaries for Vol 10 online yet? I don't mind spoilers LOL.

Hey guys. I'm currently on Voume 5 and I'm wondering when the action is going to happen? I'm reading Chapter 3, right now and it's all not focused on Kirito or Asuna and neither is Chapter 4 or 5 so when do they come back into the picture or when does it get really interesting? And what I'm reading right now is happening inside the game right?

The rest of the gang have minimal roles in the GGO arc (vol5-6), with the focus mainly on Kirito and Sinon. GGO has both chapters in the real world and the MMO? The "action" will mostly be in the last chapter of vol5 and most of vol6

Just finished volume 3, Kirito is so amazing. How he managed to counter the ability of Gram on the fly and so quickly just blew my mind. He is far too experienced for ALO, but its still great to read through it. Plan to start volume 4 pretty soon now.

Oh and forgot to mention that that fight was epic beyond words, what a battle.

Asuna still shows up here and there, but GGO is Kirito and Sinon's show :P

considering Heathcliff's motivation in farming a group high level Clears that can make it to the top. I think he would have let Kirito join the koB if he had ask.

Yes. Translating is no easy job, and it will take a good bit of time.
