In the manga, the name of a major-brand manufacturer is clearly visible on the back of the tablet he's using when he appears out of the woods but it's not in the anime. Similarly the name of the shop in this episode (Shimomura) isn't quite the same as in the manga (Shimamura, a real low-cost clothing store chain), nor is the fashion label Machi points out to Hibiki. This is in contrast to the mention of Uniqlo in the earlier episodes.

Episode 4

Lol Machi actually put on those clothes which were made in the last episode. lol when everyone was discussing Machi's clothes Natsu started to roar and everyone thought that he was mad. And then he asked them to talk about number 2 lol.

The newest character is Yoshio's kinpatsu friend who is a scary fellow. She has an intimidating look and on top of that she rides a bike which makes her look like a complete gangster and thus she scares poor Machi. But she means no harm and takes Machi to the local clothes store and tells her to get whatever she wants. Machi starting to talk about everything about that shop felt rather unfunny. And since this part lasted for almost half the episode, the episode felt down as a whole. Really hope it doesn't happen again. The comedy was going so good.

Seeing Maki bullied by Hibiki was pretty funny. Hibiki didn't mean to do any harm, however. She seems like a good girl with crude manners.

This new girl Hibiki is nice and has good intentions, she's just a little rough around the edges.

So these companies didn't give consent to having their brand used in the anime adaptation except for one? It's the opposite of what I thought was blatant product placement..

Maki's play-dead-and-roll escape plan was hilarious!

Hibiki is awesome. Rough but she does have some underlying soft edges. I found the episode actually got better when Hibiki showed up.

I like all of Machi's dresses, so cute, wish I was Natsu cause I want to hug her to sleep. (and I am sure Natsu hugs Machi to sleep from time to time.)

Never had I wanted to be a Bear... actually there was times I wanted to be another type of bear...

Also, Machi's like a doll when Hibiki gets a hold of her, poor girl.

I'm sure there are more instances of this than just one. I think there was another company that was once listed with Uniqlo in the "Special Thanks"(?) or something of that sort in the credits.

As for companies or groups that didn't give permission, other than Shimamura, I think there is also at least another for episode 3 when Machi was in a trance when she was little?
きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ is the original and I think the anime did changed the きゃりー part
ヤカタナスタカ was originally 中田ヤスタカ (Ya and Na were switched)
つけるつけま was originally つけまつける (Ru and Ma were switched)
