My point was that those are common "tropes" - Bad Guys Are Most Always Foreign - to say otherwise is to ignore reality.

And yes, 24 is garbage, but then again I'm not sure how many people watched "The West Wing"

Pina is back at Italic plus two of the JSDF are with her as representatives while also wearing togas. Also, they brought some souvenirs from Earth like a samurai sword for local nobles.

He led rag tag group that fended off the empire's troops until the real army showed up, but if you haven't noticed he's incredibly lazy and probably far to laid back to be an effective military leader.

I was a little confused this chapter, but that explains it better.

Okay, new chapter. Kind of wish that the translation was better, but beggars can't be choosers.

So the creation of the PX Shop at Alnus Hill had the unintended consequence of causing a full-blown trade town to appear around the base. Vicious cycle of fanservice attraction indeed, especially when catgirls are involved.

Also, my, they're dancing around Tuuka's PTSD aren't they. I can understand how Itami wants everyone to handle the issue delicately, but keeping it at arms length isn't really a good solution either. That said, more points for Rory's attraction to him I guess.

Yeah I also spent a few mins thinking how she could of become a MP so fast. I mean they attacked a civilian town like bandits.

I am no expert on PTSD, but I thinking along the same as Itami and Rori, not much he can do other than tell her bluntly the whole village was whiped out. Corpses were burned. They dont have a comfirmation that her father is a victom, even if its a 99.9% chance he was. Because remember, they arived after the dragon attack.

I dont really know what to think about the community area becoming a trading post. Things seem to be progressing quickly, but you cant go wrong with a few cat/dog/wolf/bunny girl barmaids. But I really want to seem them back out on patrol or expidition mapping. Bit of cheekyness between Rori and Itami is always fun tho.

I'm not entirely sure why the /ak/ is using the first translation to pop up for the release when a better translation got posted a few hours later.

I don't know if anyone has post any news on this but is anyone planning on translating the actual light novel versions on Baka-Tsuki? There already at 3 volumes now.

I'm not sure I've read the accompanying text 100% accurately, but...

...I don't think that's actually her (Yao). I'm fairly sure the text talks about how the Dark Elf tribes' faith in the dark goddess Hardy had changed to smiles of despair and nihilism... so I suspect the picture is just showing how some of them chose to throw themselves at the dragon to be eaten rather than try to survive and fight back.

Without having read the chapter I can only assume it is because of the roll. The newer one is primarily air superiority, the older one is a fighter bomber, which would make it far more useful for a close air support mission.
