Don't know if this is true or not:

"The Shonen Sunday #31 reveals that a big news about InuYasha is announced in #34 on July 22.

Generally speaking, this description means the 2nd anime series starts in October."

Unless its a re-invention and/or they cut the ultimate-evil what-its-name out of it, its just a waste of time.

Well, I certainly wouldn't consider a second season a waste of time. The anime just dropped the story in the middle, and whatever you think of it we now have a manga ending crying out to be animated.

If I were to put it into words, I think of it as the most extended blown out of proportion single arc spanning 100+ episodes of all time.

I dropped it at some point since it was just going nowhere.
Is the manga a different story or something?

Some of the anime was filler - maybe 20% - but the rest followed the manga pretty closely. Until, that is, the anime stopped with the story completely unresolved. If they picked it up there would be no need for any filler, since the mange is fully complete.

Yeah I really think they should bring Inuyasha back for closure...
The rest of the manga really does need to be animated...
It would look better too...
Better art and definition

infact, if they are remaking it i would rather have them cut out a lot .. i did enjoy inuyasha a lot, but.. soooo long. i wouldnt be dissapointed if it was just an ova or a movie.
