There's a long discussion of methodological questions earlier in this thread. The answer to your question is that we don't really know how DVRs are counted. They're unlikely to be counted in the most immediate figures like "overnights" but might be counted in ratings that include delayed viewing for some, probably short, period of time. Read rooboy's comments in the link for more insights.

Since it seems like no one else will, I'll try to keep up and update the weekly ratings here (unless Siegel Clyne returns or someone else decides to do it). I'll see if I can post another week or two in my next post, since this is way behind. A couple of things I'd like to point out: NTV's anime block on Mondays has now been renamed to "Anime 7," so it will be named that from now on. Also, like Fuji TV's Anime 7, this one measures the ratings of two shows: Detective Conan, which airs at 7:00pm on Mondays, and Yatterman, which airs at 7:30pm on Mondays. However, it appears that this block will not last long. Sources from a couple of Japanese newspapers have indicated that NTV will start airing an hour-long weeknight news program at 7:00pm. At this time, it isn't known what will happen to either Yatterman or Detective Conan, although a petition by Japanese fans has already appeared, asking for Detective Conan to continue. |

Sadly, the older 2ch threads have vanished, making it impossible to list the previous weeks from where Destinyblade has stopped. But maybe a summary will be made later on. A few comments on the latest ratings, too: - There's one number that was posted in the linked 2ch thread, concerning the ratings of one more show for the exact same week: *1.9%(--.-%) 04/20 17:30-18:00 TX* Natsume Yuujinchou (Rerun) I had read about it on Canned Dogs, but it's always interesting to point it out: Natsume did get a mainstream timeslot on TV Tokyo (among other channels), after all. Airing close to the likes of Bleach and Naruto, though on this particular day, it is airing right before... Dora. Doing better than the explorer, at that. For those who may not know, the series also aired on TV Tokyo before, but at 1:30am. I believe the earlier rerun was made possible thanks to the great DVD sales Natsume Yuujinchou has been achieving. - FMA2, dropping and dropping again... we're back to the mediocre ratings Geass R2 has received in the timeslot, after the second season of G00 had managed to do pretty damn well. Doroku may have failed, but replacing it by Nichigo isn't working that well, even when bringing back a popular series. Now what next? If the ratings don't get better once the series stops being a retelling of season 1, I feel that nothing but a Gundam series will be able to keep the only TBS-MBS golden anime timeslot alive - and I doubt one will be made before the end of FMA2. Time to gamble on an original series, once again? Hey, the producers can always ask for a new mecha show from Sunrise, that wouldn't be too big of a gamble...
